This show is an annoying abomination. Each episode consists of a power hungry mad scientist named Rick coming up with a scheme to grab power. He will drag his nephew, Morty, along to be a scape goat or distraction. Morty will reluctantly agree to go along with his uncle. Now people think these two are based on Marty McFly and Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Other than a vague likeness, they have nothing in common. Rick is an irredeemably awful human and that's really the whole point. Watch this evil human being ruin the universe and drag everyone down to his level. The "humor" is farting, passing out drunk, burping, etc. This show isn't worth watching. It's crap.

This show is my favorite thing right now. It has great humor, it's clever, and sometimes also deep, dark, and depressing, in an interesting and cool way. The show follows Rick Sanchez, a sociopathic genius, who returns to his daughter, Beth, around two decades after he abandoned her as a child. Beth is a hard-working but neglective wife to Jerry, a mediocre and slightly pathetic excuse for an adult. Beth is also the mother of Summer, a jaded and trouble-making 17 year old, and Morty, a sweet, but easily scared 14 year old. Rick doesn't exactly hit it off with his family, especially Jerry, who despises Rick almost as much as Rick despises him, except for Morty, who is made Rick's assistant and is forced to accompany him on "adventures," which are usually dangerous, strange, and traumatizing adventures across dimensions and universes.
Overall, Rick and Morty is a fun, genius, clever, and deep show.
