alv790 I have just watched the first chapter, but since I'm not going to continue watching I'll tell you my opinion.I was expecting a bit more of this show, with such a sensitive subject matter. However, I felt they went the easy way. They made it a rather conventional teen drama. The characters were too stereotypical, did not seem real to me. Except for the tough but golden hearted nurse (see? another stereotype), who did a good job. Then there were the absurd situations. Like the horny teenage kid who runs around without difficulties but asks the young nurse to give him a sponge bath, and she just does (OK, let's accept she is very naive and does not notice the obvious motivation, but does she just do whatever procedure a patient asks for without instructions from their superiors? does she have so much free time during her shift?). Or like the cheerleader whose roommate is a boy (yeah, he is in a coma, but still, people get roommates of the same sex). Or the doctor discussing with the cheerleader's parents her difficult prospects right by her room where she can easily hear. I could go on, but you get the idea. This is a TV show, I don't expect too much realism, but so many absurd details make it difficult for me to suspend disbelief and makes me think the writers are not even trying too hard.Their idea of making these kids act like "real" kids is to have them smoking marijuana, taking a doctor's car without permission and buying alcohol, but it felt forced, like they were trying too hard. They did not seem real to me. Because of that, the emotional scene in the roof felt unearned, particularly considering that some of the kids there had just arrived and did not really know the others.With me talking about the flaws all the time, you might get the impression that I hated it. It's not that bad, however. There are hints that they want to develop the characters from those stereotypes, there are still emotional moments that rang true, like the conversation between Leo and Jordi when they were in bed the night before Jordi's operation... I kind of would like to follow some of these characters and see what happens, but there are so many good shows to watch that I don't think I will.

Chesty La Rue This was awful show, it tried to combined the sappy crap from glee with the hackyness of the fault of our stars. It was bad like really bad, the precious 15yr old fans with their tumblrs and taylor swift posters were doing everything to keep this piece of fecal matter above water but they failed. hahaFirst it's a bunch of teens living in a hospital/5 star resort. they Dr. Mcdreamy Jack McAndrew where you KNOW they will have an episode where some fat ugly girl throws herself at him. Then octiva just yells at people like some she is on crazy pills.The teens are so one dimensional and terrible at acting, they just throw side comments and wear try and "act nerdy/cool/deep" the show is just painfully written, this some of the worst writing I have ever seen on television, thumbed me down all you want it's not going to bring back this steaming pile of fecal matter. didn't like my review? does it matter? alexandria-chrismanrios This so is so cute and adorable. I loved everything about it, i hope they make more seasons. There is a crap load of shows out there that are completely retarded excuse my language but I'm serious. I like how they threw in a little drama and love in the show it is the perfect mix. Having a love triangle between everyone and then when Dr. Andrew gets punched in the face was absolutely hilarious. I read so many articles trying to see if they are really stopping the red band society and i can't believe it. Because of the ratings? I think ratings are just as good as those crappy shows if not better. Why quit the series? And I don't like many shows besides killing, murder, and action. When we first started this show I was bored, I didn't think anything of it. Now I am dying to see more.

benapearl The Red Band Society is my favorite show.I wake up every Wednesday,excited for the new episode. I am hoping that they will not cancel this show as I have heard that they are seriously considering. I need to know if Emma is alive and goes back to the hospital for help. I need to know how Dash leads his life. I need to know what happens to Hunter in surgery. I need to know if Leo and Kara end up together and I need to know if Jordi gets emancipated. Finally, does Charlie regain his full strength? So many of my questions will go unanswered if this show is canceled. This show is amazing and I will be very sad if it ends up being canceled. I can not believe a show as great as this one would be considered to be canceled.
