Cortechba Overrated
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
cmc2392 Great Family Genealogy show with loving family.!!!~ Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, Von Trapp, Pearson( This Is US and Corleone) may owes tribute to this the show big time. There are many shows can be reality, drama, half soap opera style in more or (less like soap operas The Originals, Vampire Diaries Empire, Dynasty and Dallas) The show fan want to be more diverse inspirations mixed Roseanne, Shameless, All-American Girl which is very Asian stereotype sitcom. All-American Girl need to fixed more family generations of Braverman. Waltons and Keatons are best example for this show which has more family drama. THe problem at the ended, viewer do not see many offsprings finale. Two of stars Braverman play previous tv portray decent father Adma and hot impulsive mother Sarah ( Laura Graham from Gilmore and Peter Krause from Six Feet Under). Surprisingly, Craig T Nelson's role who I am very familiar with his acting( Bob Parr and Father Freeling from Poltergeist). Nelson play grandad and father of four Braverman children. Aftermath, fan disappointedly really want to see want happen to Braverman clan in last season. The family need more Shameless clan family; Jabbar's heritage diversity and flashback of Braverman clan's childhood. Also Crosby had unborn baby at finale that we need to see it.
kateevans-31553 Parenthood tells the heart-felt, dramatic story of an upper middle class family in Berkeley, California. Zeek and Camille Braverman have four grown children, all of whom live near them and have become parents themselves. Each subsection of the Braverman family looks a bit different, but everyone has their issues. Sarah Braverman has moved home with her parents with her two teenage kids because her ex-husband, a musician with an addiction problem, has left them with few alternatives. Julia Braverman is a corporate lawyer with a stay-at-home husband, and she's constantly trying to balance her heavy workload (and majorly Type-A attitude) and her role as a mother. Crosby Braverman randomly finds out he has a five year old son and is quickly catapulted into the tumultuous world of fatherhood. Then there's Adam Braverman. The oldest child, the prodigal son, the perfect husband. Adam has it all figured out. He has a beautiful, sweet wife who cooks, cleans, and drives the kids around, and his teenage daughter Haddie and eight year old son Max are just lovely. That is, until, his son Max's tantrums at school become uncontrollable. One day, Max finally shatters the class fish tank and soon after, he is diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.
Denise C E4:11 - what to my wandering eyes. This episode paralleled my life. Several years ago I went into septic shock from eating bad food at a restaurant. Obviously I lived, however I was so sick that I hardly noticed what was going on around me. This episode allowed me to experience what my husband went through. He was sick too, from the same meal; yet, there he was at my side, holding my hand, settling me down so the doctors could help me. He never left my side. I knew he stepped out to call family yet I never realized how difficult this must have been for him...to loose the love of his life, almost. You see, we are high school sweethearts. We married other people after high school, lived separate lives, and divorced. We met up again years later and married. I am so blessed to have him, and his delightful family - so much like the Braverman's it is remarkable. Amazing parents, 2 boys, 2 girls, and they demonstrate their love and devotion for each other every day of their lives. As I came back from the brink of death, I felt so deeply grateful for my life, for my love, and for my family. Thank you to the writers, cast, and crew, of Parenthood that so thoughtfully brought me back this memory. This episode helped me relive the tender and tearful moments of that experience and allowed me to gain empathy for my husband & families' experience. Teaching me again to be grateful, and honored, and humbled by the power of faith and Love. Denise C
khopes123 I tried to like this show, because my husband enjoys it I thought it was something we could watch and enjoy together. I tried. But the Braverman's have to be the family of the oldest brats in television ever. Whine, whine, whine, ordinary bumps in life are portrayed as tsunamis' every single time. No one can get a word in edgewise they are always talking no screaming over one another and saying absolutely nothing. I have no idea why Adam's wife has not been written out of the show what does she add to it nothing. Last night Crosby and Adam bickering over an incident that occurred between the two of them 40 years prior, well good ole dad sits pained at the dinner table, to whatever to speak up and tell them to shut up, and ever suffering mom looks on to her over grown middle age brats who apparently emotionally are stuck at 12. Watching two grown men whine about childhood hurts that should be a distant memory if a memory at all is like listening to fingernails on a black board. But if any of the Braverman's ever heard fingernails on a black board 30 years ago they would still be crying about it. Ray Ramano should run for his life as far away from this annoying liter of 40 something almost 50 something brats before they suck the life and humor out of him and he turns into an emotionless drone like Adam and his no more exciting than white paper wife. This show should have been six feet under 4 seasons ago. Good bye
