Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Marcus Geebs New York Undercover was a good show for many reasons. For one, the chemistry between J.C. Williams and Eddie Torress (Malik Yoba and Michael De Lorenzo respectively) was always there, and their friendship was believable and it just worked. not only that the show also focused on the 2 main characters personal lives.this show is Full of action and something different was going on each episode and I enjoyed every episode. But this show went downhill after they killed Michael De Lorenzo character, and i began losing interest.other than that NY Undercover is a good show its dark, gritty, suspenseful and slightly scary at times.
ncjp8101 I am not going to into detail about any of the episodes because I loved all of them. I truly wish this show was still running even if it was just in repeats but all good things must come to an end. I stumbled on this site while I was looking for a place to buy all the episodes so I can watch them again. To see the beautiful actors and actresses that they were again and to be jealous of all the girls on the show and to cry again as they were killed off. To anyone who has never seen this show I suggest you find a way to watch it. You will not be disappointed. The writing and actors were great and you could not help but fall in love with the characters. I loved this show so much and I hope we can get another one just as good. Hopefully most people feel the same as me about this show and it feels good to me to be able to voice my opinion about it. Hopefully the players can read this and they all know what a great job they did with this show
werknhard The three best cop duos were all ten years behind each other. Starsky and Hutch in 1975, Miami Vice in 1985 and New York Undercover in 1995. No other cop duo has come close to these three to this day. Williams and Torres did an excellent job of blending in with the crowd by dressing the way the general public (or the criminals they were going after) dressed. Some folks over looked this and thought the two young cops were rappers. But any police officer can explain the term "UNDERCOVER" and it shouldn't be hard to figure out. Part of the reason the show was dropped is because Mike Delorenzo wanted to direct a few episodes but greedy Dick Wolf wouldn't let him and that led to Torres' character being killed off. Needless to say, if you take away a lead character the show doesn't have a chance. Picture Knight Rider without David Hasselhoff, Starsky & Hutch without Starsky or Hutch, Laverne & Shirley without Laverne or Shirley. New York Undercover could have lasted at least two more seasons if Dick Wolf knew the meaning of profit sharing.
IrockGswift At the beginning it was only detectives JC Williams (Malik Yoba) and Eddie Torres (Michael Delorenzo). In that first season it showed the viewers that it was the first black and hispanic cop show on the history of television. Which also gave the viewers, how we see urban crimes today. The first season played all the latest R&B and urban style of music we listened to. The fashions these cops wore the urban community can relate to and the hip language they spoke. JC Williams played by Malik Yoba was a tough New York cop who had no patients for law-breakers. He is also the father of a ten year old son (G),who he has a hard time raising because of the long hours trying to crack down on a case, and his son becoming an adolescenes. It was difficult for JC because he has a finacee he has to spend quality time with, and had to juggle his personal time around his work hours. As for Eddie Torres played by Michael Delorenzo he had issues of his own like someday owning his father's nightclub (Natalie's)and dealing with his father's drug problem. Their work is overseen by the no nonsense Lt.Virginia Cooper. The second season introduce a new member to the detective duo (Nina Moreno) and she was Eddie Torres partnered while JC was recovering from a near fatal incident. The beginning of that season JC became bitter and more aggressive towards criminals, and his partner (Torres) took notice of that and tries to tell him to lightened up some (due to the fatal homicide of his finacee to which JC felt helpless and knowing the killer is still walking the streets). At the end of the "Brotherhood" episode there was a dramatic seen where Torres and JC fight and Torres letting him know that he is still with him, after JC told him he is still mourning the pain of his murdered fiancee. The second season ended with the new detective Nina Moreno (Laura Velez) as Eddie Torres love interest. By the third season the show became more diverse by adding a third cast member name Tommy Mcnamera (Jonathan Lapglia who is Italian). Mcnamera became Nina's partner till she froze up at gunpoint when a criminal who had Mcnamera's life in his hands. Sadly the third season ended with Torres and Mcnamera being killed off by a couple of bank-robbers. There leaving JC and Moreno transferring to a special unit which the show now suitable to a wall street-like audience. At the end it sucked, but in the beginning the show was interesting.
