Stometer Save your money for something good and enjoyable
UnowPriceless hyped garbage
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
benlupu This is not a science program. It is a wildly sensationalized pile of hysterical garbage. It is however, instructive in exactly one way: It does demonstrate how many supposedly credible scientists will whore themselves for TV exposure. In this program, pretty much everything in the universe is about to destroy the earth any second or is evidence of alien invasion. It twists actual science into tabloid TV in the worst possible way. Shame on the producers. If you like science and have any self respect, avoid this stinking pile of poop.
aussie-54406 While this show seems to present some facts it is so hyped and sensationalized that it often comes across as hokey. While I love science, especially relating to space, and being entertained, I don't like being talked down to and treated like an idiot. Way over dramatic, sensationalized editing and presentation. Not a good advertisement for astronomy. Presenting the facts in an interesting and factual manner doesn't mean the show will be boring an uninteresting. Virtually every segment I have seen features a breathless announcer and/ or commentator saying, in carefully cut and edited dialogue, what seems to be an announcement that someone has died, aliens have been discovered and hidden or there has been a disaster of some kind. NOT ONCE has this related to the actual outcome. And "files"? I think not.
toecutter87 Note: I'm not a skeptic, I believe in the very likely possibility of intelligent life outside Earth. If you have even a passing interest in the subject of unexplained phenomenon, you'll already of heard of the majority of "mysteries" presented in this show - you won't learn anything new.Every episode apparently follows this formula : 1. Present mystery. 2. Offer crazy explanations (preferably Aliens). 3. Reveal that it was just a geological/weather/astrophysics issue.4. Next mystery.NASA's Unexplained Files would be best suited for viewers with minimal knowledge of scientific endeavor of the past 100 years.
Brett Martin Moore First in the 2015 series: Tungusta Russia - Ice meteor exploding over ground. Plausible. Monolith on one of Mars moon... Just a bolder standing on end. Plausible. Crashed UFO in the US.. part of a soviet Satellite doing a re-entry. Documents went missing. Eye witnesses stated it was a controlled entry and the object made a fish hook fly over which clearly demonstrates it was under control. Anything not would enter in a straight line. Black ops military took over site. Took large object away. Space Shuttle challenger: Picture of lightening strike at time it started to break apart: In picture you see a solid line from the challenger going past. Then you see another intersecting line with a starting point above. Their excuse.. Camera moved from delayed shutter. Problem with this excuse: Millions of people use the same technique to take pictures of stars etc. No shutter movement. and Secondly, if there was shutter movement, why are there two lines not just one. The main line showing the shuttle should also have taken a wobble. It is not scientifically possible to have two lines unless it was a double exposure which also cant happen unless the challenger went past twice... This series is worse than Project Blue Book. The entire premise of the show is to make you think that we have the answers for everything and nothing strange is going on beyond what the show suggests. Anyone with common sense can see this show is a dud !
