XoWizIama Excellent adaptation.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
slippinlymonleemen You got to stop the screaming. Not cool. The screaming is much more disruptive than any spirit I came across. Always love the show, but will stop watching if the screaming continues. Love when you have guests. It puts a different spin on things. I always wanted to check out the haunted places in England. This series shows me a lot of interesting scenery and landmarks.
Rusty McGuire While i'm not sure whether i believe in ghosts or not, I did really enjoy the show in the beginning. Now it just seems like i've seen this show before. I did enjoy Derek on the show as he gave much more history on the places visited & the ghosts that lived there. He even interacted with the ghosts. He made it all seem fun & exciting to the viewer. Altho i like Fred, the Demonalagist, i find he doesn't participate in the show as much as i think he should. He gives a bit of history in the beginning of the show, almost repeating what Yvette already says in the intro & then it's like he fades out sight. As for Dr. John Callow, his reviews are monotone & boring. I keep waiting for him to fall asleep in the middle of his droning on & on. He's almost emotionless. Does he ever blink?? I want to get a good look around of the beautiful places investigated before investigation starts, a bit more history & maybe Fred could interact with the ghosts a bit more.
Bonheur-venteux Yvette Fielding only thinks "LOOK AT ME". She's horrible and ignorant. I could not believe the way she used to constantly try to steal the show from people like Derek Acorah. For instance Derek would be receiving supposedly psychic information, and trying to explain it but suddenly the idiot, Yvette, would interrupt and say something totally stupid like "DID YOU HEAR THAT OVER THERE ??!?!?!". No one would know what she was talking about. And if she really did hear anything, it was never anything worth mentioning let alone interrupt the guest psychic about. She was always trying to grab the attention on that show. During a seance she actually got up and ran away and went into a small room of some sort {forgot} and as if she could "make it happen" she was there {camera on HER of course}, trying to drum up some dramatic psychic incident. Of course she failed. But she did manage to get the camera off the main group who were trying to hold a seance. She's a Pig. And she has a nasty personality. While in Hever Castle she had to say something extremely awful {and untrue} about Anne Boleyn. Horrid Yvette had to say that she heard that Anne had slept with her own brother out of fear of not conceiving a child with the King. Well Yvette, I bet you would do ANYTHING if it got your ugly fat face on camera. Anything for attention, right Yvette ?
glurpp It's been common knowledge in the UK that this show is "rigged," since 2005, when Derek Acorah was exposed as a fraud by national European newspapers and TV shows (search youtube to see the altered footage for yourself). At the same time, Karl (Yvette's husband, as it turns out) was exposed for having tossed pebbles, shoved crew members and blamed it on "ghosts" etc. (Again, a quick search of sites such as wikipedia will easily provide more information).Somehow, none of this information seems to have made it to the U.S. in the nearly half-decade since it became common knowledge in Europe.Having watched the American version of this swill since its inception, I will never waste another second of my life watching these charlatans as they insult the intelligence of anyone truly interested in finding answers to the age-old question of whether there is life after death.Since the stone age, mankind has been aware of spirits in the physical realm (and for anyone who says they don't believe in ghosts, ask them to finish this sentence: "the Father, the Son and the Holy ..."), and it's become abundantly clear that Yvette Fielding and accomplices are also involved in one of mankind's oldest pursuits: betraying the trust of the gullible.I lost someone very, very dear to me. I've long questioned whether our spirits live on after our bodies die, but it's become so much more pressing a concern since this huge vacancy appeared in my life so unexpectedly. As such, I truly resent the cheap tricks (table shaking, tossing pebbles, so-called "seances") Fielding and cohorts use, in an attempt to pass off acting as genuine communication with spiritual beings. Even for its supposed "entertainment value," it's worthless.I'll watch some other program. No thanks. Do some research and you'll probably come to a similar conclusion.
