Reviews

Protraph Lack of good storyline.
Teringer An Exercise In Nonsense
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Torrin-McFinn77 I didn't get this show the first time I watched it, but it turned out to be better on the second viewing. I enjoyed many of the sketches, including "Funniest Joke in the World", "The Lumberjack Song", "Falling From Building", "Battle of Pearl Harbor", to name some. And the movies were just as good. The best Pythons are Eric Idle (who would later star in Transformers: The Movie) and John Cleese (who would later play Q in James Bond 007: Die Another Day). Even though I don't own the complete DVD set, I can always catch a sketch or two on YouTube. And that's how I'll do Monty Python from now on for the foreseeable future. Make this your British comedy show if you're not sure where to start. It gets better!
Lee Eisenberg England's most famous comedy team made its name on its eponymous TV show, spoofing anything that could get spoofed, and has maintained a cult following ever since. John Cleese, Terry Gilliam (the only American member of Monty Python), Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Eric Idle and Michael Palin depicted every possible wacky thing during their five years on TV -- namely the dead parrot and the Ministry of Silly Walks -- and in several movies since then.During the 2008 presidential election, there was an Internet meme saying that the wrong Palin got chosen as John McCain's running mate: it should have been Michael Palin because he's tough on terrorism ("No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!") All in all, a great show! Aside from "A Fish Called Wanda" and "Fierce Creatures", another movie featuring multiple members of the team is "Splitting Heirs".
maxschrek5 Funny, funny, funny! One of the funniest shows ever! It is a God send to all nerds (like me) everywhere. Without this show nerds would have nothing to do at all. But this show sparked the Nerd Invaision of the 60's and 70's-unlike that pointless British Rock and Roll Invaision, I mean who needs the Beatles ? These guys are The Beatles of comedy. My favorite sketch on the show is The Fish Slapping Dance (wait, is that even a real sketch?). It's just such a random sketch, it's funny! My favorite line is "Well if a homicidal manic comes and attacks you in the middle of the night wielding a pineapple, don't come crying to me!" That pretty much sums up Monty Python. The only sad thing is that, it's gone. Graham Chapman's dead, Terry Gilliam and John Cleese have moved on to bigger and better things, Michael Palin's gone traveling, Eric Idle's kicking back feeding of his cut of the Python legacy. And what the hell happened to Terry Jones? But the show will live on in our hearts. Actually just a little joke, I'm actually rat-catcher who needs cash. No you're not! Yes I am! No you're not! Yes I am!
murdermystery77 This is one of my most favorite shows. It's so silly,it's smart.I mean not everyone can get away with sketches that include fresh fruit defense, men in drag, and mattress clerks who don't have their math together. i personally love this show(the humor plus a deep crush on a few python men(cough eric cough mike cough terry) have fueled it:) But some don't like it.they think its stupid or silly etc etc. Well to them I say Fie. you will love this series. The absurdness plus terry gilliams nightmarishly goofy animations make for an excellent TV show. YOU MUST WATCHMy unofficial signature(because IMDb doesn't like me) Smile.Jesus loves you
