beandip57 If you love martial arts action and cool characters. THIS IS YOUR SHOW. I have watched this now from day 1 and now the 2nd season. The show has gotten better since the 2nd season. First let me start by saying I am an action junky. But I don't like stupid action e.g. 20 rounds in a six shooter, a guy who hits every shot but misses when it counts. This is exactly what it was advertised to be. Post apocalyptic future with a modern feudal system. Then add in some bad ass action martial arts scenes. What they have created is weekly dose of adrenaline and awesomeness. And with the addition of Nick Frost, as one would expect, it has its share of humor. Side Note: any series that can make Nick Frost to look like as Bruce Lee, should not be underestimated. I tell everyone about this show. Most people that I get to watch more than a few episodes are hooked. But unlike most shows, this one is getting better as the series goes on. The main character Sunny (Daniel Wu), really sells. He is an ex-assassin, turned father who tries his best to change his life. But like all characters with a past... it haunts him and eventually catches up with him. Some of the side stories are also great with people dealing with poverty and monarchy rule. Faith vs survival and many other stories. But if you can find a better show that satisfies your need for action let me know, because this is the only I have ever seen that does just that. I hide high hope for shows like Fear of the Walking Dead, The Gifted, Cloak and Dagger and The Inhumans and nothing has even come close. Give it a try, especially if you like action.

wiseguy-tr I admit the first 2 seasons were nearly below the standards of mainstream TV series. But something has really changed in Season 3 ! Both the VFX and the martial arts choreography scenes have improved incredibly ! Some of the fight scenes are so artistic, so brilliant that I want to watch some episodes over and over. Most remembered scene is in episode 3 (Blind Cannibal Assassins) where the fight is between Castor and Gaius Chau at the temple. I also like the still frames and the camera angles, the fixation of the colors. It's going quite well and I hope they do not ruin it by making the script too thin.I you love martial arts and Matrix like VFX scenes combined with artistic choreography then Into the Badlands Season 3 is for you.Lastly, the same person is still lacking talents in acting and mimics. Why do you keep on insisting with Emily Beecham? She's the weekest link in the cast...

Serenity3000 Best action/adventure show on cable. A thrilling action ride from season 1 going into season 3, its only gets better. What I love about "Into the Badlands" is that the characters are so complex. None of them are all bad or all good. The really "bad" characters like Quinn has a few good qualities and the good guy lead Sonny, has some bad qualities, such as he's a master killer and he has killed some good people. The most intriguing character is the Widow. There is nothing more thrilling than watching female characters defend themselves and kicking butt like the men. The Widow and Tilda can more than hold their own against the men fighters. The Badlands have a host of kick ass female fighters that will give the men a run for their money. Into the Badlands is a more PG version of Spartacus. Guns are for wimps, give me live action any day.

Ratko Parenta I really don't know why this TV show is not in range of the best shows ever. Great story, absolutely great fight scenes, beautiful landscapes, great production. Very unusual and unique in many ways. I recommend it to all of you, especially people who loves futuristic, apocalyptic story line with lots of turns.
