Reviews

Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
ActuallyGlimmer The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Kaelan Mccaffrey Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
Josephina Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
samuel-lewis12 So at the time I loved this spin off, but when rewatching it I realised I'd had cinema syndrome and it wasn't that good. Little connection to doctor who, and some farely wooden acting especially from April who had seemed to be picked from a GCSE drama group where people think there better than they are. Tanya was just racist (yes black people can be racist) and this was wrong, if it was a white person, the show would probably get taken off I player, what's wrong with white people being nice to each other in downtown abbey! I felt that rams character was probably the best, then followed by Charles and mattezez. Quills character was okay and I loved her episode. The finale was good apart from the cliffhangers! Don't leave cliffhangers unless your certain the show will get good views. I enjoyed most of the stories in this series and the effects where okay for a low budget drama. The reason it failed is that no ones really interested in doctor who anymore and if they are it's just the main show.
Richard Stretton The first thing of note, is just how poorly written the dialogue is in this slick looking, but clumsily delivered sci-fi. I found my psyche being tormented between whether this is intended as a giant spoof comedy, or an edgy young piece of science fiction. I fear it is trying to be the latter, but ends up as the former. If you've lost that spoon you were looking for that you were going to scoop your eyeballs out with, this might be a valid replacement. I want so badly to enjoy it, as the premise of the show would seem worthy of watching - however, it is a cringe- fest from start to end. I had to google a bio on Patrick Ness before I slaughtered him here. I was praying he was a 13-year old and that I could actually applaud the effort... but sadly, he's not... he's just a terrible writer who fails to connect with his audience on every level.Characters have no substance. Plot is just okay. Subplots are non-existent. Clunky show overall.Visual effects are typically British, and that's something the fans of this genre can somewhat take relief in... but that relief is short lived as soon as these actors open their mouths. I don't blame them - they can't add gravitas to words that appear to be written by Donald Trump.Watch 5 minutes of it - you'll wish you hadn't, but at least you'll know the truth.
MrWeenie It would be nice to have a show that sometimes explores social issues in a constructive way, for young viewers. This show has a character, Tanya, who has prejudices, who generalizes about people of a certain color, but it's not presented as though her stereotyping is wrong. There is no evidence of oppression shown against her in this series, and all of the people closest to her, who she generalizes about behind their backs, seem are completely fair, good and decent to her. I realize her sort of attitude is common and often accepted lately, but if you're going to have it in a show, no matter how common it's become or what direction it comes from, it should be addressed, otherwise you risk offending some of your viewers. So, the writers of this show are recklessly bad, and that's also apparent by the overall lack of quality episodes.
s3276169 Class is yet another spin off from the Doctor Who universe. This time around its teen angst in the Time Lords world replete with college romance, issues of friendship and fitting in. I'm well past this stage in my life but my biggest issue with this show, isn't its teen demographic focus. The reality is the sci fi action is far too thin on the ground. The result is a series that feel more like Adrian Mole, with a few not too close encounters thrown in. Unlike Sarah Jane, the excitement is simply absent from Class, leaving a series that might appeal to youngsters on the emotional front but has little more to offer. Five out of ten from me.
