Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

maxbasem if i wanna compare it with star trek i would rather watch all star trek movies, this one got 7.1 and i watched the movie, so disappointing and not exciting at all, even star ship troopers was more exciting than this one, actors were acting not emotional, as they don't wanna act in this movie at all, definitely should not be rated that high, after wasting my time i feel like the new generation of human being are not really good at rating science fiction movies, they really need feeling the real taste of original science fiction maybe these young people just wanna watch only boobs LOL The design of robots were very cool and good but their movements were rather not well programmed, these young programmers had forgotten to learn from their masters, please guys, if you wanna make a movie, then please make the movie at least a good one, this one not considered as a good movie either

Daniele Pighin BSG's success was based at least as much on good writing as it was on realistic CGI, good acting and photography. All these ingredients are missing here. The main weakness of the movie is its plot, which is basically nonsensical. Other reviews already pointed out in how many ways it is flawed, so I won't repeat it here. The usage of flares and camera shakes is exaggerated, at times irritating. The romantic storyline does not add anything to the movie, it is not central for the development of the plot and almost certainly does not contribute to the artistic value of the film. There is something of the spirit of BSG in this prequel, but it's kind of washed away. It feels like BSG might have felt after becoming an overstretched and bored production, which luckily for us it never became.

deydreamer IT SUCKED 1. Lens Flares, yeah we all love Andrew Kramer and the Knolls Light Factory but this is overboard. 2. The entire plot revolves around getting the Doctor Lady to the Cylon Relay station. A task that apparently a raptor can do in under an hour when it rescues husker. 3. They are ditched by the other pilot who apparently thinks he can fly home to see his kid even though he is in a Viper, not a raptor. Vipers don't have FTL drives so he is kinda fracked on that account. 4. They Fleet trusts the entire mission to a rookie pilot, a short timer and a known traitor. Ummm bullsh*t! The entire WAR is resting on this mission, why send the tiny ship there to deploy the mission when you have like 4 fracking battle star just playing dead that could go there and ensure it's a success! FRACK just send in that rap-tor at the end, apparently its got the secret back way into the base to ensure it's a success. 5. The love scene is worthless and should have been scrapped in order to progress the other parts of the story along. frack this reboot.
