Synopsis

Baby Daddy follows Ben, a young man in his early 20s living the life of a bachelor in New York City with his buddy, Tucker, and his brother, Danny. Their lives are turned upside down when they come home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben's. After much deliberation, Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his friends and his protective and sometimes over-bearing mother, Bonnie, and his close female friend, Riley.

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
ChanBot i must have seen a different film!!
Calum Hutton It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
newdat-52146 I binged watched all day and all night....love this show
filiarga I guess it is funny enough to keep me watching the series for more than a season. The funniest characters to me are Bonnie Wheeler and Tucker Dobbs. The acting of Melissa Peterman as Bonnie and Tahj Mowry adds to the stars in my review. But sadly, the acting of both Chelsea Kane as Riley Perrin and Jean-Luc Bilodeau as Ben Wheeler is just poor. The short-lived love story between Ben and Riley is just not convincing. Ben Wheeler portrayal as a dad completely failed. Riley completely failed to portray herself as at least something close to a lawyer. And it also bugs me that she is so poorly dressed throughout the series. My biggest disappointment, though, is that the series sells itself as a story about a baby daddy but then tells no story at all about life as a single parent. Also, in one of the episodes, Ben left his baby to a bouncer of a club --a complete stranger! That was just unacceptable, even for a sitcom. Overall, quite funny. But the title just does not fit the story.
spikemaze Someone wanted to make this sitcom, but needed a pitch and made it about a single dad. The fact that this guy has a baby is rarely a part of the plot and they mostly work around it rather than including the baby thing.Honestly one thing is making a bad sitcom, but making it on false pretenses is stupid. Ben and Riley are shallow portrayed by poor actors while the other characters are alright and actually the ones who interact most with the baby.I guess someone really likes this show, but I can't understand why.
Ava I love love love this show. It's set in NYC, and is one of the funniest shows out there. As a huge TV fan, I think this sitcom is what's needed in these times of political/economic instability. Although it has been running for 5 seasons now, each episode is like a breath of fresh air, promising twenty minutes of non-stop laughter to anyone who tunes in. I find it funnier than New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The characters are all hilarious in their own right, and hold their own when it comes to comedic timing. I'm laughing non-stop throughout the entire twenty minutes. It reminds me of how Scrubs used to make me laugh in almost every scene. The script is witty. I particularly enjoy the clever wordplay and rhymes that Bonnie and Tucker bust out. Their chemistry together is the recipe for laughter. I mean all the back-and-forth and physical comedy somehow ends up funny and not tacky at all—which is rare. Everyone is good looking (even the guest stars) which, let's face it, is always a plus. The baby is the differentiating factor between this and other sitcoms. And she is, simply put, a bowl of cuteness. I'm amazed at how the directors manage to include a scene with her in every episode. It must be tough to have a baby (now toddler) on set in each episode. But she seems to have a good temperament. And I hope she can get more airtime as the show develops. All in all, I'm a huge fan of this show. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone who just needs to have a good belly laugh after a long day at work.
