skatergirl-86436 I really love this show. I just started watching it tonight but I love it so much. I love the humor and that Katie doesn't give a damn about what anyone else thinks. I also like how theory use the small town as a humor point as well. I also enjoy that they are proud of their daughter who doesn't always fit in. I want to be like Katie when I am a mom someday! They are a loving and very fun family to watch for sure!

cherrypepsi-41385 I am watching the season premiere of this show and I am laughing my assoff as we speak they truly are the average American family I have a crush on Katie mixxion but that's just part of the joy I get from watching this show I adore the way she handles things shes unruly and hilarious and you want to see the family succeed and isn't that why we watch TV for characters like this that we can see ourselves in and not feel guilty for laughing at and just have a good time

Alana Falana Karen is a Hater.The thing I hate the most about this show is they paint women who dare to care about their appearance and fitness as fake and plastic, it's so unfair. She's overweight so she thinks she can call physically fit people skinny and names but of course you can never say the word fat to her because that's mean. This show suggests that people like the lead character Karen, are some how normal and real as if people who are disciplined and work hard for their achievements and figure are not. The poor husband tolerates her and constantly has reassure her. She's such a horrible example, I would never let my kids watch this. The show does have some funny moments but mainly it's kind of sad. The real lesson to the learned from this show is, simply because most people are doing something that does not make it okay or even normal, you're just in a category with a lot of really sorry folks. The entire show is listening to her obsess over her weight and insecurities, yet she does nothing about it. The incessant self loathing whining becomes unbearable. I would love this show if she loved herself and didn't hate on everyone who is confident. She's a classic "Lower the bar because I'm too lazy to get over it" - person. She's the epitome of mediocrity and she knows it. My advise, don't hate the pretty girl, watch her and learn or shut up and be happy with who you are.
