deeceel-44518 My husband and I overdosed on Agent X the last couple of days. What some people wrote was not necessary. Really? Come on people lighten up for heaven sake, it's a TV show!! There are shows I don't like or don't watch because they aren't my taste and I don't tear them apart the way people have done here. Some of the things that people write weren't necessary. Give people a chance to judge on their own. We loved each and every episode. More people should know about this show and not just the ones who won't sit back and just enjoy. The star power in this show is amazing as well. People should give it a try. As I said before WE LOVE THIS SHOW AND ALL THE ACTORS!!!!

Momo Sha There are some pros: 1. The opening and ending music is nice. Red X's on people's faces on historical photos is a nice touch too. 2. Whenever someone is shot, the blood splatter effect is the best I've seen. Hand on heart honest! It's realistic, yet not overly dramatic like those in the movie "300".Now comes SPOILERS! CAREFUL! But I would still not recommend this show to anyone. Because... Cons: 1. (S01E01) John shoots a dude in the left shoulder, and later fights him on the roof. The blood stain is now on the right, and as the dude swings a metal pipe, no bullet hole is visible, only a patch of blood. He also uses his arm as if he was never shot at all. Too fake, and this being the first fight scene that we see, is not very encouraging. 2. (S01E01) After John saves the girl, they encounter an AK47 in the construction site, with no recoil, never knew they made them that way.3. (S02E02) John chases a wolf with a sniper rifle. As he aims, the entire head is visible in the scope. But the wolf is less than 400 yards away! With that scope that close to target, I highly doubt that the wolf will be visible. One of it's nostrils would be magnified large enough to fill the entire scope. 4. (S02E02) Malik, when helping John escape, carries a grenade to the terrorists, and it explodes, killing himself too. A normal person would toss the grenade at the terrorists.Too many fallacies in just two episodes. I'm not saying this TV show will definitely fail. But, a lot more attention to detail is needed for survival. Calling for more proofreading before submitting the scene is not overly punctilious, it's what should be done.Well... Let's hope they improve, but clearly, not a lot of thought was put into the filming, YET. (Don't lo0se hope! I'm still hopeful!)

Bug Aldcroft Admittedly, I watched the first episode entirely on the premise of Jeff Hephner's involvement. However over the past few episodes the show has merit.Personally, I like Agent X for what the show is. It's a spy show with a campy edge. John Case is no James Bond, nor is Agent X a Bond Movie, and I think this is the aspect that hangs it for many viewers. When a viewer takes away this imaginary ideal for spy shows and movies set by James Bond and for many of us Growing Up Bond, this show becomes quite brilliant for what it is a campy spy show, with an endearing if a little classless Agent who falls comfortably between the Bond ideal and....Johnny English.I think if everyone who tries to watch this show gives it a minimum of 8 episodes before casting judgments, will find themselves hooked and wanting more.
