it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

It's cheesy, it's not the best story, it's not great acting but it's a movie about trance and festivals, so much like green street being a film about football and beer, it's gets the juices flowing if you have been a child of Ibiza or creamfields and gatecrasher, when it finished I was genuinely glad I watched it, it brought back memories and the music is right up my street. Don't expect it to win any awards but if you are a fan of dance music or have been to a few superclubs or Ibiza you will appreciate the film.

I been attending these festivals since 2013 and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Even though it was predictable at times, I do relate to the characters and feel like I know them as well. These scenarios do happen, believe it or not and I think they played out well. This was more of a storytelling film based off the scenarios given than a film showing performances of DJ's and people dancing which I what I wanted to see and which I did enjoy from beginning to end.

I watched this movie because of Hayley Kyoko. She's an exciting, fun young actress/singer/writer/producer/director who does a lot of interesting projects. I always look forward to what she's going to do next. This is a fun movie. It portrays the experiences of several unrelated groups as they attend a huge music festival called "XOXO". Imagine the perfect music festival with great music and thousands of wacky people just letting it go and dancing and having a good time. This was the backdrop to the movie. The main characters are interesting as well. Cute Sarah Hyland plays a young lady going to the event with friends. Hayley's character attends the event with her boyfriend who is going away to college the next day. Another guy is the son of a hardworking, demanding father who attends the event to support a friend who is performing. All very interesting characters with interesting story developments and a whole lot of fun.Recommended

As someone who attends these festivals and enjoys this type of music and the lifestyle, I thought it was a good attempt at depicting the culture but it was just cheesy and didn't depict it accurately at all. It's a hard culture to embody and I think only documentaries do that. But I'm sure someone who hasn't been exposed to most of the culture would probably find it entertaining. It was just kinda like the cliché storyline and pretty predictable how boy meets girl, etc. I found the narratives and interactions to be like a G rated movie with some F bombs and drug use in it. I definitely won't be watching this again. I'm no film industry guru by any means but I can detect bad acting and poorly flowing story lines when I see them.
