Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
BA_Harrison Wild Things 2 isn't a sequel; it's a cheap emulation, an imperfect carbon-copy that takes nearly all of the elements from the first film and simply replays them with a slightly modified script and a different (ie., less memorable) cast. As in the original, the noir-style plot revolves around a group of morally bankrupt characters out to get rich any way they can, meaning that double-crosses, murder, and sex are once again the order of the day, all of which leaves the viewer with a very strong feeling of deja-vu.Bisexual rich girl/poor girl combo: it's there! Gratuitous threesome scene: it's there! Sexy pool scene: it's there! Inquisitive detective: he's there! Further plot explanations during the end credits: you guessed it... it's all bloody there, with zero effort made to add anything new. The no-name cast do their best with the regurgitated material, and the girls are plenty hot enough to make matters easy to endure, but at the end of the day, this is nothing more than an unimaginative cash-in that really didn't need to be made.5/10 for all the lesbian snogging and boobs and stuff, but that's being generous.
kosmasp Watch the original Wild Things before you even think about watching this. I'm saying this, because a) this is just a re-hash of the original and therefor b) will spoil all the fun you could have with the original movie. Why? Because the acting the script, actually everything is better with the first one. It's obvious that this is just a direct-to-video cash-in. You could wonder what the point is, when the original was great as it was. But of course, if something is successful, they will remake it .. and in this case, just call it "part 2", which is a "cheat" in itself. As are quite a few things in the movie. And while you didn't care about the cheats that much in the first one (because it was good), you will not be able to watch this completely and enjoy it as a movie (depending on your likings, you might enjoy the "bodys" on display here ... though there are better and shorter music videos for that sort of thing)
preppy-3 Rich high school girl Britney Harvers (Susan Ward) has a dead mother she misses and a lousy stepfather who hates her. He dies in a plane crash and she's left all his millions. But cruel, obnoxious school girl Maya King (Leila Arcieri) claims Britney's stepfather was HER father and she deserves all the money...Pointless "sequel" to "Wild Things". It's basically the same exact plot with a few (minor) twists and turns....just done with a bad cast and a terrible script. If you've seen the first you don't need to see this--you already have. It even copies the infamous threesome sex scene from the original! (Trust me--the original is better). This is just made to show young, attractive women in bikinis--wet ones preferably.I'm giving this a 2 because it has some good points. Everybody looks good (Ward and Arceri are beautiful and Joe Michael Burke has a nice body); the settings themselves are lush; there's one good performance by Isiah Washington and a nice score. But you're constantly one step ahead of this movie and it gets annoying. See the original--you'll be much better off.
wnterstar The original Wild Things is a decent movie...kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. I was hoping this would be the same.Wrong, wrong, wrong!!! First of all, the plot was weak, at best. Secondly, the twists were lame. I watched it with my best friend and at one point she turned to me and jokingly suggested a ludicrous ending.Imagine our surprise and disbelief when that WAS the real ending.Wild Things 2 lacks the sensuality, the intelligence, and the imagination of the original. It is predictable, and boring. The sex scenes are lack luster and have no passion to them. All through this movie I kept thinking that I need to know what happens, but I can't wait for this movie to end! I was feeling generous tonight, so it gets a 3/10 but probably deserves a 2.
