silvan-desouza Anees Bazmee made big money with NO ENTRY which was far better his film is absolute trash Tries to copy MICKEY's BLUE EYES but falls flat The start scenes itself are boring, Nana's track is quite funny while Anil- Nana scenes are fun earlier, Akshay's track is one of the most boring part of the film Sadly and strangely his scenes with Katrina fall flat Anil trying to frighten Akshay Kumar or some more scenes are quite funny But overall the entire comedy falls flat and there is nothing even funny about the film The story falls flat and the last few scenes are so bad that you feel like choking yourself and laugh at the directors What the heck ? Any thing they make and make money at the Box office How such films work?Anees Bazmee gives his worst film ever His only decent film was Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha While NO ENTRY was also quite good Music is okay, though Himesh songs sound boring and too many songs especially the item song look forced Cinematography and digital effects are badPerformances Nana has done pokerfaced comedy several times, here too he does it brilliantly and does a good job especially in the shooting scenes Anil too is hilarious in his part Akshay Kumar is a letdown, known for his great comic performances here he just falls flat, it seems he was trying to play his part like Agastya Rao he played in JAANEMAN but his act looks monotonous here Katrina Kaif is horrible as usual Malika Sherawat is better then her in a small part Paresh Rawal is monotonous Feroz Khan hams as always

bhavikapattni This film i went especially to see in star city and it definitely was not a waste. This film was brilliant in everything that it had tried to achieve. When i first saw who was in it and the sort of plot line and who is was made by and stuff i thought it would be funny and a good film. When i came out of the screen i had not only confirmed my predictions but realised this was a splitting your sides funny and an excellent film. Katrina Kaif cannot act for dog biscuits and the song Koka Laka Valari was a bit stupid but besides that it was amazing. It was nice to see Malika wearing normal clothes for once and even 2 saris i mean that is brilliant even for her. She looked very nice and that item song by malika arora khan was good and i specially liked the song kiya kiya. Feroz khan was good in this movie and Nana Pateka and Anil Kapoor made me laugh so much. I loved the ending when Lucky jumped out the fire and Akshay Kumar started screaming "Miracle Miracle" lol and when Paresh rawal's wife came and Feroz khan was like wtf is she doing here? and stuff it really was an amazing movie and a brilliant end to the year and start if you saw it after new years.

m_shankar20 If Anees Bazme had set out to make a load of crap, he has succeeded brilliantly. 'Welcome' probably has one of the best star cast seen in 2007. But all have been wasted without regard on a script that is worse than what kindergarten kids come up with.It is a wonder that still some people, other than Feroze Khan himself, want to cast him in their films. Thankfully, he does not have much screen time. But even he seemed much more bearable compared to the rest of the mindless proceedings of the film. I hardly understood some of the song lyrics. I guess it was intended to just add to the crap. Not much to write about, but hope this sounds a warning bell to Akshay Kumar. He has an excellent sense of comic timing. But he is getting boringly repetitive. If he does not want to end up like Govinda, it is high time he looked seriously at his work profile.

leiberman_scratcher Paresh Rawal is Akshay Kumar's uncle...He is searching for a bride from a really good and respected family for him...Nana Patekar is a big time gangster...Anil Kapoor is his right hand and Katrina Kaif is Nana's sister...Now Nana is also looking for a bridegroom from a really good and respected family for Katrina's marriage...Nana Patekar has met almost every bridegroom in the town but no one is ready to marry a don's sister..Katrina and Akshay meet in a shopping mall where Katrina saves Akshay from the fire in the mall...Akshay cant stop thinking about her now...They start meeting quite often and fall in love...Akshay meets Nana and tells him about his uncle and aunt...Nana tells Akshay to get them to a party...When Paresh sees Nana he is shocked..Now he doesn't want Akshay to marry a don's sister..So on the day of engagement, Paresh sets up a drama to break the engagement...Mallika Sherawat acts as Akshay's wife and causes a lot of confusion in the engagement party...Feroze Khan who is a bigger don compared to Nana Patekar, would have come from Italy to attend the function. Looking at the drama taking place, he orders that the engagement cannot take place..Everyone are unhappy except Paresh..After a long discussion with Akshay,he puts across a challenge telling if Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor leave their current profession and become respectable individuals, then Katrina and Akshay can marry...So the task of fulfilling the challenge begins and it also succeeds and finally Akshay and Katrina get married...Overall the songs are horrible...The movie is worth watching at least once...I give it 6/10
