Hottoceame The Age of Commercialism
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Rehman Khilji Movie is based, how an immigrant is stuck between two worlds, how adjusting in a foriegn country is difficult, while you are also taking along the traditions. Dont worry i have not spoiled the movie and this is not the plot. Kumail Nanjiani, a comedian is trying to hard with the jokes, while being normal. One or two jokes are there but the rest is little disappointing. Best actor Anupam Kher is wasted. Pretty Shenaz Treasury is hardly in the movie, was she even in the titles? Nevertheless, its not a 7 but somewhere between a 5 or 6. Good for weekend when you have nothing better.
im-sohrabi Well a good movie have to mentioned small little sides and "The Bid Sick" do that very well. You feel happy when you look at clothes, watch people eating and see a group of youngs do stand-up comedy. After all the collection of komail from the period of hospital was fantastic.
Neil Welch Kumail, an Uber driver and aspiring stand-up comic, encounters Emily at a gig. To their mutual surprise they fall into a deep relationship which crashes to a halt when Emily discovers that Kumail has not told his fairly strict Muslim family about her, and has kept secret from her the succession of young Pakistani women his mother has tried to set him up with. Emily is subsequently admitted to hospital with an escalating infection which results in her being put into a medically induced coma, and Kumail is thrust up against her parents who are angry with him for hurting their daughter. The premise of this romantic comedy is original, the dialogue crackles - not so much belly laughs, but consistent smiles throughout - and the cast is terrific. Holly Hunter and Ray Romano are both excellent as Emily's parents (there were points when Hunter's accent was a bit impenetrable for a Brit), Zoe Kazan is, as usual, a delight, Zenobia Shroff is a hoot as Kumail's mother, and all the supporting cast are good. And Kunail Nanjiani, who co-wrote it, shows us a man torn between his family who retain their Pakistani roots and values, and the country he has grown up in.This film is funny, emotional, and examines a number of issues quite deeply but without beating you up about them. The trailer told me that I would probably enjoy this: I loved it.
Ali Ahmad This movie was good. I like how kumail put humour in everything!
