Cebalord Very best movie i ever watch
Spoonatects Am i the only one who thinks........Average?
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Sebastian Salling Kierkegaard "I, Robot" is not your average sci-fi flick. It has some deep and rich themes. It is very human in a robot way. I know it sounds weird, but when you watch it, you know what I mean. Will Smith is a very realistic character. Though there are some cliches at times. But those are minor complaints. The visuals are stunning, because of the fact that this was released in 2004. I, Human Being recommend this. It's not flawless, but it's definitely a solid take on robots.
Cheese world Reading what the movie is about, or watching the trailer you will want to see it, but when you actually watch the movie and find out what the real plot is, you'll realize it's the dumbest plot.Viki, which is the supercomputer, started to think for itself, and corrupt the robots for its own use. Viki got too concerned with the safety of humans, so it programmed the robots to not listen to them. (This is so stupid)You mean to tell me, Viki was so concerned about the safety of humans that it decided to corrupt the robots to control humanity. (Breathe, never mind)Dr. Lanning knew what Viki was up to, so he comes up with the dumbest idea to program a robot (Sunny) and have it kill him, so he could leave clues behind revealing Viki's plan to detective Spooner (This is dumb)It just doesn't stop. You mean to tell me he killed himself in order to leave clues behind. I'm done with this topic, don't even want to talk about the other stuff.
osama1964-210-40614 It seems that among the points that this movie trying to make is legalizing murder if it's being done by A.I, some sort of license to kill that was given to James Bond gangs. Computers programs are tools similar to a gun or a knife or whatever other tools or weapons used to do crimes; if there are some controllers doing these murders using computers programming then they are still criminals. License to lead maybe had been given to these controllers but never license to kill.
nadinesalakovv The ending about the robots being slaves and being set free is all a bit too much. This movie is from a book of short stories, the author obviously has a hardcore mindset about this type of stuff - almost like he takes it way too seriously. This flick could've had a better alternative ending, but the film wanted to clearly make robots on the same level as humans with emotions, it nearly spoils the film, it's so out there that this type of thing will never happen in reality, robots can only be advanced to a certain point, but feelings and emotions - no that is ridiculous. The movie at times makes the robots so human-like to the point where at times you feel sorry for them.I, Robot is an attractive film, but is illogical, the ending forces the viewers to look at these robots as though they are actually human, it wouldn't be surprising if the author of the short story series and the writers of this film are atheists, the story is 100% unrealistic, the truth is God made man and woman aka humans, nowhere is it stated in the Bible that robots are made to be just like humans, robots are important in today's society, but not to the extent as the portrayal in this flick. Also want to add about the scene with the cat, as an animal lover i'm hoping that the cat was a CGI cat (the scene with the cat all wet in the pool with Will Smith) cats hate water, i don't believe that was a real cat in that scene due to his/her eyes being two completely different colors.
