Reviews

KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Jesse Aurbrey I must say, Urotsukidoji III is not the best of the series, NOR the worst. Let's just say it's OK. It has its' ups, it has its' downs like practically any film in someone else's eyes. The plot has many side plot which is confusing at first, the characters are still the same, good to see Amano Jyaku fighting Unihausen (forgive my spelling) again. I did not like the newly introduced Buju, he just seemed vile at first sight. He is not as bad as the incestuous father/cybernetic tyrant Ceaser, thankfully.overall, OK storyline/s, good characters, slightly lackluster animation (in my case...) and OK voice-over (I said it was OK, NOT GREAT). Urotsukidoji III is NOT FOR EVERYONE. I like it. Enough said.
rayshiest2004 wow. I have to say that this movie was the biggest let down in my life. after hearing on websites that this movie was gritty and gory and all this other good stuff, I went to check it out at the rental store. after seeing 2 minutes of this episode I was utterly utterly disappointed and ashamed. the English dub sounds like a cheap 70's porno, the animation looks like a bunch of junior high kids got together some day and drew this crap up, keep in mind that this came out in 93, only 2 years before ghost in the shell. the story , oh my goodness! it makes no sense! from little gray people showing up out of nowhere and with no explanation to what they are, to babies coming out of statues, the only reason I saw the whole thing was hoping that some action scene would save this holy piece of bad anime crap. never ever ever watch urotsukidoji... do yourself a favor and go rent yourself Akira or Mononoke..please
nutsy Let it never be said that the UROTSUKIDOJI series is merely porn. Like the others in the series, this entry has characters with histories and motivations, as well as sex drives. We follow familiar characters through a hellish, post-apocalyptic neo-tokyo, on a mission from the partially born Overfiend. As expected, there are tentacled monsters who rape women, there is also gore and violence, but there is a plot. Our villain is a fat cyborg named Caeser whose daughter falls in love with demon Buju. Other plots run along side this, but the love story is usually the most interesting thing in this series. This entry in the OVERFIEND series features such high points as a nuclear missile fight, gory flash-backs, and the usual things the series is famous for. I think of it as a series that's enjoyable on many levels (usually the lower ones). It certainly isn't for everyone, but dammit, it's a hell of a lot more accessible than the likes of CALIGULA.
Homer-43 This movie was so bad, I can't explain it in words. The movie just shows a monster that rapes a woman and some nuclear bombs flying through the air. I hated the first Urotsukidoji, but this one really SUCKS!
