ShangLuda Admirable film.
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
akkitiwarix I loved her acting in Home Sweet Hell, and really liked that she took on an unconventional role of a women playing the lead sinister role. And she took those skills in this movie to a whole different level. Don't get me wrong i like her rom-com movies before too, but these kinds of roles are rare and it's good that she is taking these challenging roles, although her acting looks like she was born especially to play these roles. Forget what the critics say if you liked the trailer you should watch, that's all there is to it.
disneydts It was a thrilling movie and I loved it...I don't know why most of the people don't like this movie
kevinandmarsha After reading most of the reviews here I chose this film at Redbox as a last resort (since I had a discount code it was only $ .27, I figured why not?); I was not expecting a great movie, and warned my husband in advance. I need not have been concerned. As in all movies, there are a few moments where you want to say to the character, "Just do such and such to resolve this." But overall, the acting, directing, script, setting, story line, filming, etc., was very well done.My husband even commented of his own accord "This is a good film." The bad reviews are simply unfair. Kathryn Heigl portrays a believable character, and shines in a role in which we have never before seen her. Dawson and the other actors portray equally believable characters.Running in the background throughout the film is the idea of how important communication between loved ones is, and the possible consequences of neglecting that aspect of a relationship. If you liked films such as "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," (DeMornay) and "Single White Female" (Jason Leigh) you will like this one as well.
MLDinTN This movie was just plain bad. It had no originality and this type of film has been done many times over. Guy dumps crazy ex, has new girl, ex gets jealous and turns psycho. In this case the ex, lures the new girl's abusive ex to her house. Once new girl leaves, ex kills the abusive guy. Ex pretends the new girl pushes her down the stairs and tries to make it look like can't keep the kid safe. Guy feels bad for the ex, after all she is still alone. Once guy realizes ex has been manipulating the whole situation, she attacks him and it's up to new girl to save the day.FINAL VERDICT: Terrible acting, terrible story, not worth anyone's time.
