MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
sbanner-58949 I never had any desire to watch Twilight at all. It's 2018, and I still hadn't seen any of the Twilight movies. I accidentally ended up watching the first Twilight because Netflix just randomly rolled into that, after I watched Chicago Fire. Not sure how Netflix got from point A to point B, but whatever. The awareness comes from the fact that I actually LOVE Twilight, and the other movies in the saga... but I also agree completely with the people pointing out the embarrassing dialog and awkward moments throughout the movie. I think this one is still my favorite of the Twilight movie, but it's worth pointing out that this is the only one with all the weird awkward moments. The other Twilight movies don't have that issue. The dialog improves 100%, you can tell the actors are more comfortable and for Gods Sake... the way that the Vampires do their pouncing, irrational long-flying-type-jumps... are so much better after this movie. Just the way Edward looked when he jumped a far distance, was almost enough for me to turn it off. Hopefully other people who hated this one because of the dialogue, were still brave enough to watch the other movies in the saga because they truly are much better.
hazeleng If I saw the movie now for the first time I know I probably will hate it, but the 11 year old me was so love struck with it. Honestly no movie these days makes me this happy anymore. Also I think this one (the first movie) is so much cinematically pleasing. I enjoy the dark blue rainy vibe & the shaky camera a lot. This movie is my guilty pleasure. 10 for the nostalgia feelings.
devilvimalkumar When I saw this movie someone on the facebook movie watch list. I'll just thinking of it. and finally checked reviews and i found a girl with fallen love with vampire. that's the time and now i became a big lover of this movie.
yasiru1991 I rate this film a 7 because of its story line. A girl falling love with a vampire, a creature who is obsessed with blood. Yet their love forces him successfully to restrict his own unquenchable thirst. This is a great story line for me. But i would not say the film has captured all the lovable moments that i would expect from such a romantic story. The chemistry between bella and edward seems fine but not showing that intimacy which we hope to feel from two hard fought love bees. That is the lacking part which makes this film romantically below par than the films like Titanic , A walk to remember etc.
