Linkshoch Wonderful Movie
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
adonis98-743-186503 A freak accident might just help an everyday garden snail achieve his biggest dream: winning the Indy 500. I haven't seen Turbo since 2013 and my god the film holds well. The voice acting is great, the soundtrack is amazing especially the slow motion sequence with Turbo getting threw a wheel and 'Eye of the Tiger' playing in the background is simply spectacular. The film packs some great comedic moments and dramatic moments too, it's suspenseful during the final minutes of the race and it has great animation and messages for kids such as believing in your dreams and friendship. Not everyone will enjoy 'Turbo' but if you give it a fair and share chance it won't disappoint you also a sequel wouldn't be a bad idea honestly.
Lizzy m I though the plot line was interesting and different, a snail wanting to compete in the Indy 500? I love how ridiculous the story is, I mean it's such an impossible dream, that somehow comes to life. The characters are lovable, both the snail and human characters, the jokes were clever, and the animation was fantastic. I liked it, as do my siblings, it was hopeful and lighthearted, and their theme was great as well.
lisafordeay Turbo is a Dream works animated film released in 2013 and tells the story of an ordinary snail named Turbo(voiced by Ryan Reynolds from The Proposal and that same year he voiced the young caveman in The Croods another Dream works Animated film) who dreams of being a Grand Prix racer as he has an idol who he adores on TV.But since his a snail and his too slow, his other snail buddies thinks his off the rails only when he spends some time by himself, he comes across a car tournament and accidentally goes inside one of the cars which contains a special formula called Nitrogen something that goes into Turbo causing him to be speedy and fast. He later meets a man who is working in a taco restaurant and its not going too well with the customers so the young man decides to take Turbo in his wing and teach him how to win the Grand Prix race. But can Turbo complete and win the Grand Prix? Overall this was a very predicable movie as you know what is going to happen a mile away and it tries to be a parody of Fast & The Furious and Cars from Pixar. The voice acting was great though you know who they are a mile away. And the rest of the premise is silly but this film is aimed for kids not for adults(although I love watching animated movies as a lot of them have adult humor in them,im looking at you Shrek and Tangled).Bottom line if you have kids check it out,if not avoid.
Robert Porter If you're stuck in with Man-Flu & just want an easy going fun loving number that'll make you laugh.. this is the first across the line! The Animation is no where as breath taking as Pixar of course but it's still FULL of vibrant colour & cool effects! The characters & the voice actors fit like a snail's shell! And the story doesn't do anything too clever-dick! They keep it pure, simple, enjoyable & fun.One thing I especially loved about this film is the mixed cultures. It really adds such depth when the characters are your typical white conservative types! ALL the cast members worked overtime to get this off the ground! It does have a more serious moral at heart, but it's never intrusive & the pace of the film is maintained throughout.I was surprised at how enjoyable this film was, & I recommend it for the whole family!
