Reviews

StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
andrewroy-04316 The Social Network is a classic clean, well cut, directed, and written movie that is easy to watch and makes you think. Eisenberg is wonderful in the role of Zuckerberg, and paints a realistic and ambiguous picture of a complex man with a big modern influence. I always find true story movies like this to be wild, and extremely valuable to watch. Nothing in the story blows you away, and the ending is lifelike (obviously, as it's based on what really happened) in that it wasn't overly dramatic and not all characters had clean, deserved endings. A very satisfying, well-rounded film.
amarjunchu The moment I heard what this movie is about I was like. I won't like it since I am more of an action adventure type of guy. But boy was I wrong. The fantastical story of the making of Facebook is just as intriguing as it is to browse the website itself. Or maybe not so much nowadays. But in any case this does not require you to like facebook to like this movie. The movie is about friends and betrayals which center around a Billion Dollar Company. I loved this masterpiece.
AlexanderRohdeJ I love this movie so much! I'm a massive David fincher fan. And this movie only makes me love him more. The way he dramatically and gracefully shows the story of Facebook from beginning to present, is more than brilliant. I don't think anyone else could have made this stories into a film. Amazing performances. Jessie eisenberg was sublime. I watched this movie so many times, and I highly recommend anyone doing the same. You don't have to be interested in social media or technology to enjoy this film. It is so much more than that.
geekygamersnetwork This is a film which simply shouldn't work, but it does - magnificently. A story centred on a teenager who becomes the world's youngest billionaire, a web site that reaches a million users in two years, and a cast of real life characters with names like Zuckerberg and Winklevoss just shouldn't be possible. A convoluted tale of raw conflict on the origins of a new type of web site should not lend itself to an expensive movie as opposed to a television documentary. It succeeds because it is not about the technology but about creativity and conflict and about friendship and betrayal. It succeeds because of a magical combination of accomplished direction, scintillating dialogue and superb acting.
