Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Andariel Halo Despite, or perhaps because of the film's synopsis, I was completely drawn in. It bore some resemblance in themes to a few other sci-fi movies i'd seen, but not very many.In fact I found myself starting to jump ahead of the film's plot by figuring out many twists in advance, even to the point of figuring out the ending long before it unfolded. All the classic tropes of this sort of alternate-universe/mirror-universe stuff is there, from the secretly evil doppelgangers and the brief "oops we're in the wrong universe" foray which ends up directly tying in to the main plot later on. I'm doing my best not to spoil anything but the film is so easy to read that simply by going over all the common tropes, it becomes almost impossible not to spoil some aspects of the film. But the thing is that movies like this tend to be few and far between, and so I ended up enjoying it despite the easy predictability of it. It was fun and even exciting to go along with.
wdavidbrown The Gateway ("Alpha Gateway" on the US Amazon site) is a surprisingly good and thought provoking film that even those who do not normally watch science fiction should find enjoyable. The principle is that at any time we live in only one of perhaps many parallel worlds, some nearly identical to ours and others vastly different. There have been a number of films exploring similar issues in time travel, which open a whole new "world" of possibilities, as does this film in its approach to parallel universes. We won't spoil it here...it is simply too good. But watch for the surprise last few seconds which are so strong that one must ask if a follow up might be on the way.
darrelramos If you love a science movie that is rich in plot twists, science larger than life, a little mix of melodrama and action, and a happy ending (without that surprise ending), then this movie is a perfect for you. It is like Back to the Future sequels but less of the comedy part and more of the flux capacitor running on garbage. If you are those people who wants a science movie that is somewhat realistic in story and visuals/cinematography, and a movie that will provoke you to think the "what if's", "purpose" and "meaning", then this movie will look like an ordinary TV show to you.I give it an 8 because of the good storyline and I find it enjoyable. In fact, I will watch its sequel if they will make another one.
Clipster12 Trust me, don't bother. A generic attempt if ever there was one.
