adonis98-743-186503 An NFL quarterback living the bachelor lifestyle discovers that he has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. The Game Plan is another great Family film for the whole family and works thanks to The Rock's and Madison Petti's chemistry that is adorable, dramatic and hilarious when it needs to be plus the film sends some great messages about Parenting and loving your kids and being there for them which is the classic Disney Magic as always. (10/10)
huggibear I thought this was a nice, lighthearted-ed and enjoyable movie. It is well- acted. And Roselyn Sanchez plays the 'hot' ballet teacher too! It's hard to really say much more for this movie because it's pretty cut and dry that's it's worthy watching, especially for young ones and families. It warmed my heart for sure. Give it a go and I'm certain it will warm yours as well.
Python Hyena The Game Plan (2007): Dir: Alan Fickman / Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Madison Pettis, Kyra Sedgwick, Roselyn Sanchez, Morris Chestnut: A clean yet routine sports comedy about priorities, and our first priority should be to avoid this film at all cost. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays Joe Kingman, a high profile football player who meets the eight year old daughter he never knew he had. Standard setup leads to his struggle to adapt followed to his predictable turn from egotistical to caring father. Directed by Alan Fickman who keeps it clean but that is pretty much it. It certainly doesn't try too hard to be original. The Rock is actually quite amusing and goes beyond the cardboard cut-outs surrounding. Madison Pettis is basically reciting what every other kid who has been in these films have done. She gets in the way yet becomes endearing. Kyra Sedgwick as The Rock's agent fills space that she really needed for a project superior to this. Roselyn Sanchez as Pettis's ballet instructor is as flat as paper. How bored was the pitch idea for this junk? Did the studio honestly believe that having Dwayne Johnson involved in this would somehow make it original? Does it make him look any less idiotic than any other wrestler doing the same family film crap? Talk about bankrupt ideas. The result is a tired retread that proves that the screenwriter had no game plan. Score: 2 ½ / 10
lisab444 The Movie was good, I like Disney Movies. I thought that Dwayne"the Rock"Johnston acted so differently as to being a wrestler as Im not a wrestling fan. Or am not American football. Was funny some bits like when the girl came his door and the other bit was things she did like when his team were watching the basketball she changed the channel on the remote screen he had for all the different activities in the house like open doors, changing channels and that he could sort out for how he would be doing the add on the TV. I liked the movie, just when it came to getting the DVD of it some is different he changes the channel when the team watching basketball, and a lot of things that when at cinema she was doing "the Rock"is doing in the film on DVD version of it.
