GrimPrecise I'll tell you why so serious
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
j_dean28 I thought the whole film was hilarious. I especially liked Zach and Maria Bamford. His is simply brilliant cutting-edge material. The line that is included in the IMDb site is a great sample of his great talent. Maria is so good at hitting the "everyday people", many of whom I have run across, and letting us see the hilarity in them. She is worth the viewing all on her own. I think Patton Oswalt was terrific as was Brian Posehn. Brian's take on the latest Star Wars films is fantastic and right on the money for all those who loved the originals. Patton's political humor was just plain gut-busting funny. The only problem I had with the film was that I wanted to see more "concert" footage. Especially of Maria and Zack. They really make the film!
the2ndfloodofgod This movie is insanely funny! This group of Comedians/Friends get along with each other just like I get along with my friends. The humor is blue, just not stupid. It may take a few rewinds to fully understand the jokes but once you understand there true meaning, you will then rewind it just to laugh over and over again at the cleaver humor. This movie just hits home with me, because my friends and I poke fun at each other on what would otherwise be considered sensitive subjects. But over time we have all learned how far we can take a joke before it is no longer funny, but more aggressive in nature. So this movie just proves to me that others can learn how to make, making fun of a friend an art form. It just takes time. All of these comedians have almost completely different comedic styles, but they fit so well together as a touring act.If you are into the whole None-Politically correct type of humor, then this movie is for you.Oh and Patton, I feel your pain when it comes to the whole George bush stance on really anything. I just don't think most people see how he is dividing the whole country based on Out-Dated-Religious-Ideals. He cares more about aborted babies then he does about the abandoned ones. And he cares more about the whole gay marriage issue, then the fact that they are born that way and deserve the right to be happily married. But I imagine if the tables were turned and he was told being with a woman is a sin against god, he would fight to be with a woman. Seeing as that is the way he was born. But like the Green Day song goes I don't want to be an America idiot, just part of a Redneck agenda.Maybe George bush and his most devoted fan Bill O' Reilly will fight to get married. What goes around, comes around.
cochise63 Not only did I just see this movie last week, but I went to see the Portland performance shown in the movie. The movie gives a great portion of these four hilarious comedians at their best. If it's playing in your area, you should really go and see it. It will not disappoint. It's high time that a movie that takes place in Oregon shows Oregon as a great state. It's all too often that it's seen as some backwoods hick state just because crystal meth has been a beaver state staple for so long. But, I digress. See the movie; it will make you laugh so hard that you will surely come up with some crass way of describing its high potency of hilarity. The stars of the movie will inspire you to do so.
mfnvw5 I saw "The Comedians of Comedy" last month at the South by Southwest Film Festival. It was excellent. First of all, the comedians that are featured are among my favorites, and they all have a unique brand of stand-up. Each one of them is hilarious and you practically have to leave the theater to stop laughing. The film lets the audience see what they are like in their private time (i.e. buying a whole bunch of comic books every Tuesday). Patton Oswalt made a great point that people follow their favorite bands from their beginnings, but the same doesn't happen for comedians. After this movie, I think people are going to start following them a whole lot more.
