It follows Mr. Johnson and his pains to get rid of a cat who keeps coming back and destroying his home, despite his best efforts to get rid of it. Even if you have no appreciation for short animation, I am sure you will love this.

overtheedge27 I remember watching this on Nickelodeon when I was little, I laughed, and I sang along when they got to the chorus. I had almost forgotten about it until Cartoon Network was airing the 100 Greatest Cartoons of All Time, and this cartoon made it on the list. I fell in love with it all over again! it just never gets old and is certainly worth at least one look...make that two looks.

millennia-2 'The Cat Came Back' is likely the best short ever assembled, at least coming out of Canada. Not only is it drop dead funny, but it's original and the animation is great. I caught it on CTV about five minutes ago right before 'Open Mike', and this is the first time I've ever rushed up to the computer so fast to see if it had an IMDb listing and to comment on it. Being only seven minutes long, there isn't much to say about it, except that, if you see only one short movie in your entire life, make it be this one.

ston I consider myself a connoisseur of animation, especially comedic shorts, and this is the best one I've ever seen. The first time I saw this I was rolling on the floor laughing. Wonderful progression, perfect timing, excellent delivery. The animation style fits perfectly, too. I strongly recommend this short for anyone who likes a good cartoon.
