southdavid Full disclosure. I've never seen the Teen Titans Go TV series, we happened across this because I enjoyed the trailer and the film worked out timewise with us seeing another later in the day. (I'm also considerably older than the target audience). Disgruntled by his teams inability to be picked up for a major Hollywood picture, when seemingly everyone other hero has done, and their general lack of respect, Robin decides that the Teen Titans need an arch nemesis and settles on Slade "Deathstroke" Wilson. Thwarting one of Slade's schemes actually gains Robin the attention he desires, but will it come at the expense of his friends and teammates - and can Hollywood be trusted to do them justice. So what did I think. It was reasonably entertaining, though its funniest Meta-moments were all in the trailers. The animation was nice and the vocal performances were excellent. (Nic Cage finally getting to be Superman and Greg Davies of all people, perfectly cast as the voice of a minor villain in the opening scenes.) The songs were OK, if a little repetitive. The story was a little basic, probably geared towards the younger audience and some of the gags were a bit juvenile, again, not something I can be too critical of, given that I'm not the demographic they were aiming for. Bit sillier than I'd have hoped for, and a little too much in the trailer, but other than that it's a decent way to waste 90 minutes.
Carycomic Let's see if the Sealers of Approval will let me be briefer than usual. This is a family-friendly flick if you have children under the age of, say, thirteen. Otherwise, it's only mildly amusing, at best. And, even then, only because of Stan Lee's cameo appearances and special guest voice-overs!**Although, I have to be honest, I initially thought I was looking at an homage to Alan "Alfred '66" Napier. The animated caricature of Stan was that bad!
bandaryahya Not worth watching at all bad story in the movie it was for sure the worst movie I've ever seen
