Synopsis

With the help of their high school's newest teacher, four Hispanic students form a robotics club. Although they have no experience, the youths set their sights on a national robotics contest. With $800 and parts scavenged from old cars, they build a robot and compete against reigning champion MIT. Along the way, the students learn not only how to build a robot but something far more important: how to forge bonds that will last a lifetime.

Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
eauque I stumbled upon this movie. I am a big fan of anything science or engineering related. I am pleased to have found this. The story is a bit trite but has enough twists and turns to keep my attention. Generally, I watch part of a move and then watch the remainder later. This is one of the rare times I watched the whole thing without a break. I would suggest that you do not do any research before watching. There is a very big surprise at the end.
Anthony El-megerhi I really liked the movie's morals , this movie tells you that everyone has his mission in this life , nobody is useless here , his value might not be noteworthy as for solo work , but it will be remarkable in a team work , and that's what the movie incites us to do or rather shows us ,and how strong and full of surprises the team work is . The movie highlighted on another major point , which is the immigrants , showed us how gainful they might be , and that they are not all alike , a lot of them are genial who love The US more than its natives , and some won't hesitate to help for no return , and how some of them are suffering because the ICE pursues them but they don't want to go back to Mexico because they like The USA , they want to be part of the community , so as i grasp ,the message was to deport the criminals and support the smart and diligent or even the people who want to serve America in any way , the movie attained a huge earnings and i believe it deserved it , i gave this movie 8 because of some expected scenes or moments , but overall the movie worth the 115 minutes .
hugo-211 Great movie with an inspirational story of going up against the odds and pulling through with ingenuity, persistence and vision. This story would resonate deeply for anyone who came to the US with nothing but their dreams. The story and lesson here about gratitude may soften those that have taken their freedom a bit for granted. (Just my opinion) In short, moving story with an ongoing issue that may allow for hardliners to just soften up a bit. Can't say to much else without giving away more. you'll have to see it for yourself. These young actors did a very good job in portraying their situations. George's performance here doesn't disappoint. I thought he only did well in comedic roles, but this one certainly puts him out there to show he can act, bringing you into his role forgetting he is a comedian. Malisa and Jamie also do very well with this one. Looks like everyone had a great time doing this film and brought us (The viewers) along for the ride of this great story.
swooned I am so happy there are no negative reviews for this film. Really tight directing. Not being sappy but still emotional. Underdog theme but no bullshitting around. People getting to do the job with all their differences. And some great honest jokes. Great acting. Marisa and Jamie-Lee are always awesome and real. Perfect for this film. Do not know much of Sean's directing work, but if this is his style, keep it up. Fantastic job all around for what could have been melodramatic bullshit fluff. Awesome film for the genre.
