Synopsis

Shy sixteen-year-old Stacy Collins can't believe that the most popular guy in school, an attractive athlete named Bobby Tennison, is interested in her. At first she is flattered by his constant attention, but then he becomes possessive and jealous-telling her who she can speak to and what she can wear. Threats escalate into violence when Bobby thinks Stacy has stepped out of line. Soon she is walking on egg shells and living in fear. Having seen the tell-tale bruises, Stacy's best friend convinces her to break things off with Bobby-but in a moment of weakness, Stacy goes to meet him. It will be the last time she is seen alive.

Alicia I love this movie so much
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
wilsonandrewc SPOILER ALERT This was terrible when Stacy Collins gets murdered by Bobby Tennison. Vince Fortner who told the whole story to the detective said that he rode with Stacy Collins and Bobby Tennison to the woods leading to the lake. Vince didn't do anything, but Bobby asked Stacy to come with him and she agrees and then they take a walk. Then he took her to deep into the woods where he pulled out a pocket knife, slit her throat, wrapped her up in garbage bags and he sank her to the bottom of the lake. Bobby hid the secret the whole time. He was lying. Thanks to Vince Fortner for telling the truth before it was too late, Bobby Tennison was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder of Stacy Collins. This was such a terrible scene for people to watch.
MarieGabrielle While we certainly see an abundance of these films on LMN, the message is important, and not to be discarded.Candace Cameron is quite good as a 16 year old involved in an abusive relationship. Fred Savage is the school hunk who also comes from a troubled family. Michelle Phillips as Cameron's mother is pretty good, as she has a tendency to be involved with an abusive partner as well. At one point- when Bobby is abusing her daughter, she tries to reason with her to get out of the relationship. Cameron replies- he loves me at least I have that- you never did.We see the mind games and denial that exist in these complex abusive relationships. Sometimes the abuse is subtle, psychological, but always degrading. This is a good film for young women. Self-esteem is often non- existent and takes time to develop. The problem is that denying the abuse, or pretending it doesn't exist only makes it worse. The victim often loses her friends and is isolated. The twist at the end of the movie is a bit unexpected, and should be taken to heart. This was a true, tragic story. If you liked this film you may also enjoy "When No One Would Listen" with Michelle Lee and James Farentino. 7/10.
SurferQT369 I just saw this movie on Thursday night, and it's still the number 1 thing on my mind. It was that powerful. It really surprised me to see the well-known good kid, Fred Savage, play such a violent character to the sweet girl next door, Full House's Cameron. One thing that I thought was funny was that when Stacey & Bobby were at the beach, Stacey was wearing a unicorn necklace and then the next day, Bobby gave it to her as a present. Just a little fluke. =] But yes, it was very good. And I need a few opinions from the fans: Do you really think Bobby loved her? Or was he just scared to not have a girlfriend? Or was he just picking an easy target? It could've been a million things, ya know? I was just curious. And also, is it true that Amazon.com will have it available on DVD on June 20? Because if that's true, I'm super excited! Sometimes I feel bad because I like movies with abuse, teen problems, & eating disorders etc...But every time I see a different one, it makes me more motivated to help people. And No One Would Tell is definitely straight forward. Especially when you see her taking a shower (dont worry, it's censored! hehe.) with all those bruises everywhere. This movie made me feel lucky to have a boyfriend that loves me & cares for me. And that if any women or teenage girls are going through this, need to seek help now.
ohmypotter This movie broke my heart in a major way. It also enlightened me. I mean, everybody heres the horror story's of girls in abusive relationships. And your first thought is, how can she stay with him? And how do u let it get as bad as Stacy did? But this really is a great movie. I saw it in Health class, and i was just so sad. Stacy was brutally murdered and she didn't have to be. If someone had just spoken up, or noticed something. It's scary how in love she was with him, and how much he controlled her. THIS WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY! So everybody should try and look out for their friends. I hope that if something that horrible was happening to me, I A. would have the sense to get out, or B. Have good enough friends to help m.
