Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Stellead Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
Ki'era Trent I lived in a house where we glorified Michael Jackson's talents. He had all the moves and he could sing- and Jesus I thought he was so cute when he was young. As for his personal life, I didn't understand him, and a lot of others didn't. I figured he had pain that we were unable to see where it originated, and with that, I was content. I started looking at all his music videos and movies and I just thought he was so great. I still do. I remember watching this at age 14 or 15 and being terrified because.. he seemed psychotic. Mentally off the hinges. Like he was living in a fantasy world. The character was... crazy. There was a looming darkness about him for a part of the movie that made me afraid and scared of him. Not the molestation thing, but his character and mindset. That was not the person I saw when I looked at anything he ever did. And I refuse to believe that this character was who he was. Honestly, five years later, I remember crying and being afraid to watch the rest of it in fear, that it was true.
Jayla Ray I love the idea of having to write a movie based on some events that happened during his solo career but however, the way it came out is horribleFlex is an incredible actor. Making him play a part as a superstar like Michael wasn't the best choice. When Michael's skin disorder (if that's how you want to put it) took over his entire body, it's like they threw powder sugar on flex and continued filming. I skipped through the entire movie because I didn't like the way it started. Joseph wasn't cold and heartless. He was strict about his work but still loved the boys. Michael didn't have two surgeries, he only had one and that was on his nose. That didn't change anything about him. Prince is the oldest out of him and Paris. Why did Paris look older. I wonder if Michael saw this because if I was him, I would've been truly disappointed.
usersince03 This is based on Michael's life from 1983/4 till 2004. Flex Alexander did a good performance but looked nothing like Michael. I feel Michael was portrayed as a stupid person which I don't believe he was (even though he trusted the wrong people at times). I thought Flex Alexander looked Chinese when they made Michael look white. I think Latoya should of been portrayed in this, she was always pictured with her brother in the 80's. I never thought any of the supporting cast looked like their counterparts. There were some things that were inaccurate Lisa-Marie Presley's son looked about 4 in the wedding scene even though he was not yet 2 when Lisa and Michael got married. Also when Michael says to his mother Katherine he thinks he and Debbie should marry if she is carrying his child, it was Katherine's idea for the two to get married.
siedahcre Even though i sat and watched the whole thing,i must say it was not good.it was all over the place, with big chunks of information missing about how things developed and even inaccurate at some bits too.If you know nothing about Michael , you wont understand a thing. You have to rely on your current knowledge of the man in order for some bits to make sense..Acting was a bit dramatic, Flex Alexander looked nothing like Michael which was a put off for me and towards the end he literally looked grey.saying that portraying Michael as somewhat naive but highly positive, gentle and loving individual was okay even though they still made a fool out of him time to time.If you want to watch MJ's life story check out "An American dream". It is much better but the only thing is it will cover up to "Bad" era. I have no doubt that they will eventually make a big budget movie of MJ's life story, cos Michael You rock ;-) !!!!
