Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
eddyhate This movie starts really slowly and is a little predictable but it's decent enough to watch. some parts of the story are not that well written, filmed or acted but i think with such a small budget we can forgive those things. I liked a couple of things that happened in this movie, some parts were really direct with no fuss around it, basically the bad guy his gonna do some thing and bam he actually does it without restreint and second thoughts. it's sometimes hard to watch because of the emotional implications of the acts being done and the gravity of the situation. the violence in this movie is not always shown but, it is well understood what's been done and our imagination is enough for us to know what those actions meant. Like i said it's not always well written, sometimes the victims just do things no one would do because it leads nowhere and accomplishes nothing. the dialogues between the victims are pointless and bring nothing to the story and the same happens for the bad guys.Still that movie managed to really shake me emotionally and it's because they used kids to make people care more.the violence is realistic enough some people may find it hard to watch and others are saying that this kind of violence looks fake, but those people i think haven't been around real violence. i've been around violence, i've seen and participated in some of it and i've watched a lot of real footage to see the difference between what looks real and what people are used to see in movies and the violence they see in movies is what they believe violent acts look like, i ain't like in the movies it's a lot more straight to the point in real life.want to see hard and raw violence in war watch Hacksaw Ridge, it's pretty that raw and easy and quick like in real life.
trav0614 . Well, I for one, quite enjoyed this movie. It was an unexpected pleasure. I didn't go in with high hopes and was pleasantly surprised.I think that what I enjoyed most about it was the fact that it wasn't full of Hollywood schlock. There were some intense scenes that I never would expect to see in a big-budget Hollywood film. I say kudos for straying beyond the norm in this regard.I've seen quite a few reviews that complain about the non-linear storytelling and use of flashbacks. I'm not sure what the big deal is. Lots of movies do this. It wasn't too difficult to understand what was happening. As for the ambiguous ending, I'm completely okay with it. It seems like some of those people that complain about open-ended endings and non-linear storytelling insist on having their entertainment spoon-fed to them. Personally, I like that I was made to think a bit about what might have been.I'm kind of hoping for a sequel; Killing Ground II: The Adventures of Ollie and Banjo. This one, of course, would be a family film about a toddler and a dog who travel around solving mysteries.
Leofwine_draca KILLING GROUND is another nasty, realistic, grubby little horror film from Australia in which the horror comes from man rather than a mythical creation. I don't know, after watching the likes of the WOLF CREEK films, this, and SNOWTOWN, you'd never want to visit the country! The story is about a couple of hikers who stumble upon a crime scene and are soon pursued by some very unpleasant characters. It's an obviously low budget story that suffers a little from some confused narrative touches (the mingling of past and present storylines early on is a bad choice) but generally works in a small-scale way. There's enough suspense to see it through, as well as some shocking and hard-hitting violence. The story gets more entertaining as it goes on and it all becomes tension-packed towards the climax. It's hardly a great film, but I'd say that it achieves what it sets out to do.
scumpty-05450 About a third of the way in, my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears. Several points in the film where I was thinking "ffs, just grab the gun". Didn't like the end, I wanted a proper conclusion and for goodness sake - what happened to Ollie??
