Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
stephendechain19 This is the worst thing I have watched in a long long time. Voice acting: terrible. Plot: Terrible. Script: Woeful. The animation was fine, no problems there, and they have their own take on how the character design should be, no problem. Even I would allow for changing of a characters personality, but what they do in this film is they change the characters personality mid scene! Its just the worst... I mean I can scarcely put into words just how bad I thought this movie was. I didn't make it too the end. Might be good to let your kids watch if you don't care about their brains. Definitely better titles out there.
JoeB131 Is always a challenge. Honestly, he's the lamest member of the Justice League, given his only powers are swimming and talking to fish.I'm not even going to bother with the plot. They make Aquaman interesting. Superman and Batman are there but not really participating. A lot of the plot centers around Cyborg and his dealing with being a machine man. Or something. You have some good actors voicing major characters- such as Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern or Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman. But they aren't the focus of this story. they have the stock Aquaman villains of Ocean Master and Black Manta. It's okay as a story, even with a casual understanding of the characters involved.
Bobby Gill First and foremost I should state I'm not a huge dc fan. Alright that being said so this movie started off pretty good. Some decent fight scenes, script/story were good too. Like I said I'm not a huge fan of DC so I probably can't say for sure if some fights were accurate. Superman for example. Just figured he probably could have kicked the fake kings butt. But one thing that really got me was that the bad king dudes got this mega tsunami and right before it hits the city he just freezes it?!?! I mean the heros even said we can't save everyone. They couldn't stop the wave. So why stop it? Maybe the writers felt killing millions might be bad, but there was a decent amount killed in the other fight scenes. Obviously not near a city being taken out. Anyways right when he stopped the wave, and decided to walk in on foot and attack I was like this is such bs. I mean yes its a cartoon, but seriously why would he ever do that. So dumb. lol. Will thats my rant, still I gave it 3 outta 10, had he leveled the city.....meh...maybe it would have gotten a 7 1/2.
ersinkdotcom It's about time Aquaman got the limelight he deserves. Anyone who's kept up with his New 52 title knows the King of the Sea was resurrected with more powers than ever before when DC rebooted its universe. "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" is the latest explosive animated offering from the comic book giant and Warner Home Video and proves to naysayers our fishy friend has what it takes to be a contender.Atlantian troops assault Metropolis as revenge for the death of their King. But the Queen of Atlantis has different plans and requires the Justice League to find her lost son, Arthur. While they search for him, the Atlantian soldiers, led by Ocean Master, continue their assault."Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" is all the proof one needs to justify Aquaman's place on the greatest super hero team of all time. Whether on land or at sea, he can use his liquid-centric powers to bring down the law on all who oppose him or his friends. I love the style for the New 52 animated movies and think the change that started even before "Justice League: War" was needed. The voice actors all fit quite well, too. Of course it's still hard to hear someone else besides Kevin Conroy voice Batman, but change occurs whether we like it or not. "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" is rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and action throughout. There's some profanity to be found as well. It was very unnecessary and really could've been avoided. The use of adult language is something that will cause some parents not to let their children watch the movie. However, I'm pretty sure no one would've avoided watching it if there weren't any curse words. "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" is one of my favorite animated offerings from DC Comics. I'm a big fan of Aquaman and it's nice to see him get his due finally. The movie never lets up in the action and adventure departments and moves forward at a breakneck speed. There's never a dull moment and it will leave you wanting more as the credits roll.
