Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Michael_Elliott Jeff Ross Roasts America (2012) *** 1/2 (out of 4) Miami, Las Vegas, Seattle, Nashville and Washington D.C. are just a few of the cities that take part in this TV special from Jeff Ross as he roasts various cities and the people there. Basically Ross tells people that he doesn't want to pick on just anybody so he takes volunteers to come up on the stage and get roasted. Fans of Ross should really enjoy this special, although I'd argue that it was way too short to really stand out. I think an additional thirty minutes would have been nice because after you take the commercials out you're left with a pretty short piece. Still, what's here is extremely funny and especially Ross' visit to Washington where he stands in front of the Lincoln statue and roasts him. A running gag through the show includes jokes that he tells and then asks if it was too soon. The show starts off as Ross is performing when the crowd tells him that Whitney Houston has been found dead and he goes on joking right then. There are also jokes about Penn State, Joe Paterno, Steve Jobs and not to mention the countless people who actually get on stage. The comedy bits were extremely funny at times so fans of Ross should really enjoy this.
