Ricardo Daly The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
anapalmathsberry-91854 At the start it made me seem interested, but some how it made me seem disapointed. im still glad i watched it as i was curios to see what the movie was and at least i gave it a try. it wasnt horrible, but the movie wasnt that greate for me!
Kirpianuscus it is a nice film. not comfortable but nice. for the desire to be provocative and an Easter movie. but , the both ambitions are at the half of way. because the entire story seems be not coherent, almost result of improvisation, too cool for be the choice of large public, too provocative and almost ... boring. sure, it remains a film for teenagers with the ambition to be a reasonable option for the parents. but, maybe, something missing. and this is the real problem.
mattkratz This was a good holiday film-except for Easter, not Christmas. They were obviously trying to emulate The Santa Clause, as James Marsden plays an out-of-work slacker who spots the Easter Bunny as a kid. Twenty years later, he is deliberately ignoring all his family's pleads to get a job. Meanwhile, it is E.B's turn to become the Easter Bunny. He doesn't want the job and runs away to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming a rock star drummer, and after several stops, Marsden literally runs into him. They both become distractions and helpers for each other.I think this film was funny, and I loved seeing Kaley Cuoco (Penny from The Big Bang Theory) in it in a great role as Marsden's sister, and David Hasselhoff in a hilarious cameo. Admittedly, it could have been better, but I still liked it. My favorite scene was the interview at the video game place. You might like it.** 1/2 out of ****
ctyankee1 Very funny, Hop has a voice that goes so well with his personality. Russell Brand the English actor plays Hop. He makes a short cameo appearance. Hop lies and fakes injury and loves to play the drums. He does not want to be the Easter Bunny appointed by his father. There are so many funny scenes and the animation is great. The combination of real people and animation makes the environment so interesting. The colors in the factory where Easter candy is made are so beautiful. The music is great and the singing too. Hop plays the drums for a group of blind singers called "The Blind Boys of Alabama". They may be blind but they are not stupid. They know he is not their regular drummer. There is some infighting between the rabbits and chicks. The chicks want to take over Easter. This movie has been playing on the ABC Family Channel 4-20-4-21 more than once a day.I do hope you get to see it.
