Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Raymond Sierra The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
snperera I will always love this movie!! it is so great and I know it is cheesy and people think that the acting isn't that great but it's a Disney movie and the songs are amazing and the acting is great! You have been with these characters for so long and now it's ending and I believe they ended on a high note! This movie is my childhood and it will always be a classic to me.
valbrazon This third episode is about the last year in high school and the graduation. I have only seen few images before watch the movies and i've thought it will start with the graduation, but the graduation only appears at the end. The big problem with this film is the duration, it's 2 hours long and i think it was too long. Some scenes bored me, when Troy meet Gabriella at her balcony for example. Otherwise, and like in the second movie, the songs were nice. The final was great but this episode will be the worst of the trilogy for me because of the boring scenes. There was an idea of a fourth episode which take place in college, it could be good but it has been canceled.
byrann_gowan Anybody who believes that a Disney movie is going to have great acting skills needs to wake up. The same thing needs to be said for those who think that they will be serious or believable. Disney thrives on the imagination, so for those who don't like this movie because people don't just break out into song in real life, welcome to the world of Disney. That being said, I enjoyed this movie immensely. It is a step up from the original two. The only reason why it got a lower rating was that more people went and saw it, and they didn't like it for reasons posted above. The acting is decent enough, despite what I mentioned above. Corbin and Monique are good as the two lovebirds who are there for our main characters. Ashley is just as evil as ever, and Lucas knows how to dance and have a good time. And let's not forget our lead actors; Zac and Vanessa aren't the best actors today, but they seem to be having a great time together here; it really is a shame that they are broken up now. However, if anything, you are here to see the musical numbers. This is where HSM 3 is a step up from the first two. Because it's a big-screen movie unlike the first two, the musical numbers have to be bigger and better, and bigger and better they are. You've got the great chorus numbers, "Now or Never," "I Want it All," "A Night to Remember," the show itself, a graduation rendition of "We're all in this together," and, of course, a song called "High School Musical;" then you've got the softer songs called "Right Here, Right Now," "Can I Have this Dance" (which is the best love song between Troyella out of the series), "I Just Wanna be with You," "The Boys are Back," "Walk Away," and "Scream." All the songs are much catchier than the ones from the first two, and they are the movie's highlights. All in all, check your brain at the door and just sit and have a good time. That's what this movie is about. If you go in thinking that the actors are going to receive academy awards, with a movie that takes itself seriously, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Everybody should know this. A 9/10 for me.
kylehaines96 Disney will you please stop with this torture. i mean really how many times can we see stupid teenagers sing about Capri pants. these teens need to grow up. i want to see the one movie where they are all grown up. they submit there 401 (k)'s and do there taxes and there mortgage that is if they can get married. i swear if they make one more of this they are going to make me lose my mind up in here up in here. what would be really funny is that if they started cursing. example. all i have to say is....... (beeeeeeep) ooh yeah it's that badrated G theatrical version 1hr 52min/112min extended version 1hr 58 min/118minBOMB/****
