Alan Benfield Jr (alanbenfieldjr) Okay I got it. Director Muccino must have found a profitable vein and he's exploiting it in a rather shameless fashion. The script, very much like in "Summertime" "The Pursuit Of Happiness" and "Seven Pounds" is an expositional tear jerker with characters who explain themselves with every line of dialogue. Russell Crowe has his first seizure within the first few minutes of the film and then he has others, I don't know how many but it felt like 400. So at the end we have a 2 hour movie out of a tiny idea swollen by an infinite series of cliches that includes, I'm not kidding, a musical, romantic montage when the young lovers first meet. The extraordinary Janet McTeer has one scene and the extraordinary Jane Fonda, one or two. So this must have been an expensive production and in fact Fathers and Daughters has everything , cast, looks, settings, everything except real thought and original ideas.

So much emotion and so much to say about fathers and daughters. The little girl's relationship with her dad was sweet and that story is very nice, even when (spoiler coming up here!) the guy from Gladiator whacks his head on the bathroom thing and dies. It's sad but still, life is like that and you just think the little girl will probably get a new family and she's young so she might not even remember him. But what is important is it was good while it lasted. Life always has phases and sometimes it's sad to leave one phase even though a new one might be more exciting. Too bad we never get to see how it works out for her.But mostly what stays with you is how in the other part of the movie there's this blonde chick just can't get enough action. I was never able to figure out why it's like two movies in one because you never see the writer guy and the little girl go into any of the scenes with the dude from Breaking Bad and the hot blonde chick. But it was so hot how she was like the most promiscuous chick you ever could imagine. She's like one of those chicks that has a good job helping orphans during the day and after work she like cheats on every boyfriend because she's a raging wh*re 24/7! So hot. I recommend this film due to the hot cheating action.

Andres-Camara I heard something from her and did not remember, I'll try to see her, although I imagine another movie at three thirty. Well, this does not look too bad. This movie is improving at times. I think this movie comes to play, without sentimentality and without need of scenes that would be left over.All characters are growing during the movie. Let's see your fears, the why of everything.Russell Crowe always seemed to me a great actor, but it is that in this film is surpassed. But it is that all the actors are magnificent. Amanda shows each scene what's inside. The girl at such a young age is already very content and stupendous. The guys are great in their role.We are discovering things and why they have arrived there. You hurt what happened to them.I do not know if he would have given that touch of hope but he has given it in a very good way.It has a great picture, I liked it except at certain times. Even if it is not good with the camera. But hey, if you tell the stories like that, it's really worth it.Although it has phrases left over, like the aunt's in the end, but is that nothing is perfect.Spoiler: One thing I like is that when she goes to bed with someone, she does not show you how they do it, she does not need to, she does not come to show it and she does not.
