Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
Smoreni Zmaj When I was a kid this was one of my favorite comic-books. I think I still have it somewhere. Story is variation of Aladdin, objectively, far below Disney classics, but it doesn't make this movie any less fun. Just relax and enjoy the ride with Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby. <37/10
Rectangular_businessman While this movie feels most like an extended episode from "Ducktales" (Only with better animation) that's fine for me, mostly because I love "Ducktales" and even when this isn't at the same level of the animated masterpieces done by the Disney company in the nineties (Such as "The Beauty and the Beast" or "The Lion King") it was certainly something very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The plot from this movie is very simple, but also funny and very easy to follow, respecting most of the dynamic existent in the characters from the original series, though it is not necessary to watch any episode from "Ducktales" to enjoy this. This "Ducktales" movie is a perfect complement for the series, and it offers a decent entertainment for the whole family. I highly recommend it.
the-phantom2 DuckTales, a particularly popular 80s Disney spin-off show featuring old Disney characters w/ a new twist. I, myself have grown up on this movie having my parents record it of the Disney channel b4 i was born and recently dubbed it to DVD so i can treasure it forever. the movie could spark memories from the watchers of the show. Plus people who've seen it on Toon Disney. But for the average kids who never even heard of Launchpad Mcquack or even Scrooge, Kids could get confused on topics. But for the up-to-date Disney kid (or should i say old-to-date considering how all kids hear about in Disney is Lilo & Stich and Power Rangers and never know about good yet unknown Disney movies.) If you read some old golden spine Disney books about scrooge, they'll know. But Many will get confused.
DarthBill After an Indiana Jones style opening, Scrooge McDuck returns to the main land unhappy and unfulfilled, having once again failed to find the treasure of Ali Babba. Thoroughly depressed, he then discovers that identical triplet nephews and niece Huey, Dooey, Louie and Webby brought back a magic lamp with a genie inside. Scrooge gets carried away with the idea of having a genie at his command, but then the sorcerer Merlock (voice of Christopher Lloyd) rears his ugly head, once the owner of the great lamp and master of the genie, he now wants it back, but Scrooge loses the lamp and the genie to his former guide Dijon, who wishes to have Scrooge's wealth and enterprises. Then Merlock turns Dijon into a pig and steals the lamp, prompting the ducks to go on a desperate adventure to get it back and set things right. Which they do and set the Genie free.Mostly harmless fun that should serve as good time filler for kids and their parents and grandparents who grew up with Walt Disney characters. Christopher Lloyd voices a mean villain and the Genie himself is pretty funny.
