This is a film that stirs many elements into its brew but in the end it came out a bit boring. There is the home grown terrorist played by Abhin Galeya. There is the secret service man played by Sean Bean. There are the senior agents played by the woefully underused James Fox and Charlotte Rampling. There is Peter Polycarpou as a radical leader. Each one mouths clichés throughout the film so there are no surprises and it drags on fitfully to the predictable ending. There is a germ of a good film here but it never came to fruition. The only good thing were the atmospheric shots of dear old London where the film is mostly set. And of course nice shots of a topless Tuppence Middleton, but not enough to keep one interested

The movie has an extremely well written script. The story does not revolve around the protagonist stopping the attacks. This allows the movie to well explore and present all the factors that lead to the events. The movie has the back-story of the attackers, their motivations, the politics around the events and innocent bystanders that get caught up in such attacks. The movie is intriguing and leaves you wondering about the depth of actions behind such attacks and the actions taken by your government. All these intertwining tales are extremely well written. The cast is well chosen and the performances delivered by the actors is quite pleasing. These storyline is well executed and makes for a near perfect movie.

Who are you Hadi? Your name sounds like you may be Muslim. And yet you do the faith less than no justice! Or am I just slipping into clichéd profiling???? Speaking of clichéd... What is this movie meant to be? I cannot clearly determine it's "genre" but my guesses leave it languishing short of a pass mark in any of them. Cardboard characters, unnecessarily disjointed storyline, (understandably) passionless acting in the light of directionless directing... dialogue... WHAT DIALOGUE? Allah help us!!! Wait!!! A twist... In the closing quarter. How daring!!! Deus ex Machina? We can but hope for any truly divine intervention... clinging desperately to hope... by the way... I'm just padding out the review to get to the ridiculous compulsory 10 lines when I can tell you all you need to know in 3 words... THIS IS CRAP!!! I wouldn't even bother pirating this one.

I love spy movies. If you don't, stop reading. There are Hollywood spy movies and then there are ones from everywhere else. This is one of those. Ignore people who say it's too dark. They must be one of the beige brigade. It's not as gritty as it could be. I gave it an 8 only because there is always room to improve.Sit back,Slap it on,Enjoy!this is just a few lines to fill in minimum review requirements. no need to read
