Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Richard Latanville The Premise: A government agent is tracking what he believes to be a rogue android on a killing spree, disguised as a substitute teacher. That teacher is John Bolen, who arrives at a new high school to implement deadly discipline. The conclusion: People may not like this movie, but it has some good moments. Sasha Mitchell is a charismatic figure on screen. he is imposing and fun to watch whether he plays an Italian, an airhead fun dude on a classic TV show or this. The supporting cast were good too. The writing could use more and acting could been better.Spoiler alert. A substitute teacher shows up killing delinquents. A somebody is out to track him thinking it is the a surviving robot teacher from the 1st movie. Meanwhile a female teacher is testifying on a student who hassling or harassing or bullying her into not to. The climax is at a paint ball war games where John Bolen is doing a killing spree but the bully is out to kill the female teacher. A twist, John Bolen is not a killer robot but a demented kid of the creator of the robot. He eventually gets blown up in a bunker and all is good but with a twist at the very end. This movie would be rated R, a nudity sex scene and blood and violence.
bill_is_always I saw Class of 1999 when I was a kid. Thought it was the bee's knees. Another kid in 7th grade said I should look at the sequel. Here I am, 17 years later watching this thing and wondering, whaaaaa???? All the mini plots had me a little confused and towards the end I didn't know who was who. The director could put anyone in there and I wouldn't know the difference.I watched it all the way through and in the last scene I was hoping for a killer robot teacher to rip the girl in half or at least come through my wall and rip me in half. Either way, there no killer robots. I was tricked and I feel violated.
bronsonskull72 Sasha Mitchell stars as John Bolen an android teacher (From the original) who terminates a bunch of unruly kids and some innocent ones just for the hell of it in this baffling sequel. What one is baffled about is that this is a sequel to Class Of 1984 and Class Of 1999 yet it's still has a 2 in it's title. Sasha Mitchell is the only reason to see this undistinguished fare, since he's the only one who seems well suited to the part. It would've been nicer had Mitchell done more kickboxing and been the main villain but Razatos never overcomes this dilemma and in the end makes Mitchell into an anti-hero. Sadly the kids this time are so irritating that you can't help but find Mitchell lovable, being that he's wiping out the most obnoxious kids this side of a Saved By The Bell episode.2/5 Matt Bronson
Horrorible_Horror_Films This movie really does predict the future! It was made in 1994, and early in the movie there is a scene with the principle and he says something about president clinton being incited. Of course in 1999 he wasn't indicted, but he was impeached by the house! Wow! Conspiracy? Or just a really stupid movie? OK, the past 3 days I have watched "Saturn 3", "Shredder" and now "Class of 1999 II: The Substitute" and by far Class of 1999 II was the worse, compare all 3 movies, that is really saying something. This stupid piece of crap didn't even have gruesome deaths to keep it interesting. The attempt at a meaningful plot made it so unbearable. The 'gangs' in this movie wear the most ridiclous clothes, who is going to be in a gang and look like that? Not worth watching at all, not even to laugh at.
