Steineded How sad is this?
Lightdeossk Captivating movie !
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Stu-24 This is the film that got me addicted to LMN. Over the top, 90210-like drama (with extra murder) encapsulated in a glorious 2 hour package. Like its ilk, you can ignore the last minute or two of network interference, and bask in the glory of sex-crazed nunnery-sin with exceedingly pretty people and cheese galore.
Desertman84 After watching Dina Meyer in Lethal Seduction,I spent time on this TV movie starring Ryan Newman,Devon Werkheiser,Helen Eigenberg and Alyshia Ochse as Sister Sophia/Laura on the Lifetime Channel entitled "Bad Sister".The story is basically about a top High School student Zoe at a Catholic boarding school at St. Adeline's senses that there is something suspicious at the new nun in Sister Sophia.Later it was revealed in Sister Sophia, who gets attracted to a High School student who happens to Zoe's brother,Jason.Sister Sophia made moves to be able to sleep with Jason in which she succeeds but it later this proved to be fatal as the Sister Sophia was proved to be an impostor.Well, after watching Lethal Seduction,I got treated to a similar story wherein an older woman gets attracted to a High School student. This time the older woman involves a fake nun who just like Dina Meyer character Carissa Kensington in another Lifetime TV movie Lethal Seduction. Added to that, the fake nun happens to also have psychotic behavior and proved to be fatally violent just like the Glenn Close character Alex Forrest in 1988 movie Fatal Attraction. But as always, everything turns alright in the end with Sister Sophia, who was later known to be Laura Patterson, was brought into justice just like Carissa and Alex.Zoe is the person who brought her to justice to save her brother. The story was definitely predictable and clichéd having a common storyline as we also get to witness another female villain resort to her psychotic behavior and violent tendencies in Sister Sophia when Jason finally realized that having a relationship with the her will not provide anything good.Honestly,I could not just give it the lowest rating considering that this is the first time I saw the beauteous and curvaceous Alyshia Ochse, who proved to be pretty and sexy in her bra and underwear. As they always say,sex sells and it will always provide entertainment especially the male viewers!!!!
jtindahouse 'Bad Sister' has a wildly uneven tone. It ranges from petty plot pieces that would be right at home in a soap opera, like planting drugs and alcohol on people, right through to murder. The problem is that all of it is done in a completely uninteresting way. I understand these Lifetime movies have a lot of restrictions on them in terms of the level of violence, language and sexuality they can show, but all that means is that they have to be more creative in terms of their writing. Unfortunately this was about as cliché and unoriginal as you will ever get in modern film. The character of 'Sister Sophia' (otherwise known as 'Bad Sister') was the only thing really carrying this. She was mildly well played by Alyshia Ochse, who definitely pulled off the sexy side of the character, and gave a decent dig at the evil side of things. She wasn't given a lot to work with in the script admittedly, so I'm going to give her a pass mark. Unfortunately, as far as positives go, there is nothing else worthy of mention here. An altogether forgettable experience that is not worth your time or effort.
edwagreen We have seen this familiar theme before: Someone kills someone else and assumes their identity. The interesting factor here is that a nun is murdered and the killer takes on her persona as she has become infatuated with a musical student attending the Catholic school where the murdered nun had been transferred to.The boy and his sister attend the high school and the former has had a difficult summer while the student is the honor student. We see deception upon the fake nun as well as planting drugs and causing all sorts of mayhem at the school. Even the head sister is taken in by her.It is just a matter of time before she is discovered for the person she really is and the movie ends with an ironic Alfred Hitchcock-life way so ironically occurring within a church.
