Synopsis

Angels with Tethered Wings is an unusual, quirky and erotic three-part drama - a back-from-the-grave revenge flick about hope and forgiveness! The film follows what happens when a good man does a bad thing for a good reason. He tries to right a wrong by freeing two young lovers but instead forever entraps them to their mortal coils. In the end their collective love for each other will give an almost perfect stranger the wings to fly.

Reviews

Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Kimball Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Tom Dooley This is supposed to be a comedy and if you laugh at bad acting then this may raise more than a smile. The plot is that some guys get killed and come back from the dead and then have to do porn videos and then they get chased cos they nicked some money and then they are the undead. I think. Then in the meantime they all develop an allergy to clothes – a bit like 'Dante's Cove' – only without a plot. There are some good looking guys here and it is clearly low budget; but the plot is a bit of a stretch – which is fine. However it is a slow watch with very little happening; there is no on screen chemistry and some of the acting is drama school dropout par excellence sadly. At 99 minutes this did start to drag and become a bit self indulgent. I could not connect with anyone and could not find any humour what so ever and that is despite some very well realised scenes. The problem is the sum of its parts is not that high, but still I appreciate an indie effort so trying to be generous with my score, but also honest. If you are still interested then a rental option would be a good bet.
