Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Ricardo Daly The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
abone-34414 I would have given this a 1 star if I hadn't laughed out loud a few times. Banderas slept walked through this, or is on heavy medication. The producer and director must have felt sorry for him because part way through the movie they turned him mute....I missed how and why, but who cares. He's better mute. It would have been even better if they spared us his voice over narration. The best part of the movie - where he is undercover in his '67 baby blue Mustang parked directly in line of sight of the bad guy's house, whom he knows, in daylight of course. But he was wearing sunglasses so he's invisible. To think people are paid to make this crap.
Joss38 Loved it. Has everything a new take on a hashed out script with a totally original outcome. Second only to black butterfly
celtic451 I loved this movie.Antonio was great in this as well as Carl Urban as usual. It was also great to see Paz Vega in this. I like how Antonio when through different phases of grief and the unique way in which he handled it. I'm a person who loves the power of coincidences as there really are no coincidences in life, and the writers used that in a very creative and believable way. I liked the small sub-plot - not real complicated but that's what I actually liked about this movie, Small twists of things that came into his life that actually helped him and added to his life. I loved this movie!!! 10 out of 10!
LouAbbott I can't remember the last time Antonio Banderas made a good movie. I stay away from his movies like I'd stay away from someone with a bad case of the flu. But, I found the plot interesting, so I gave it a shot. My shot was a total misfire. Every reviewer who rated this movie two or one star hit the bull's eye. I believe the last decent movie Banderas made was around the time Steven Siegal made a decent film. Think about that. Well, don't think about it just don't watch "Acts of Vengeance."
