Danilo Ribeiro This goes to Marcos Lobato. This is an answer for "insights" There is no "discuss about" in English. You must say "discuss something" or "talk about something". And this movie is only nice photography, nothing else. They pick up an exclusive amateur duet of childish pop music siblings and tried to make them stars.There are nothing but didactic for kids. Brazilian movie industry still needs a lot of improvement concerning casting !!! Anyway, the lead characters cannot be rated good actors. That's all I think.That's my opinion folks. Thats it.There's no way it's over. Good Luck!!

roteiroj30 Let me go straight to the point. There is not a single hat in my closet -- they make me look goofy! So, when I told my pain-in-the-ass sister that I would eat my hat if by any chance I could enjoy watching Acquaria, I did it because I always wanted to say that! So here I am, for the sake of not having to eat a hat, admitting for whoever might read this, that I did watch Acquaria last night on DVD and I had fun. As weird as this might sound, Acquaria is a damn good movie... Well... If you feel like trying, go wild... or not... To be quite honest, I don't care! I am starving and I'm out of here. Lunch time: salad, rice, beans, steak and NO hat on my head or my plate.

45nicoll 'Acquaria' is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. All the stories I heard about it weren't good. Not that it is a perfect movie but it has its big moments. In the future the world is one big desert and there are myths about a place called Acquaria. Living a lonely life Junior and his friends live in an empty destroyed village. They are afraid of the 'bad guys' and there it comes the new Sandy – she surprisingly really plays well the mysterious type! The story goes that they want too find a way to Acquaria. Like I said there are some nice moments in this movie. The sets look pretty impressive, and the landscape they are on looks pretty cool too. Some single action scenes are worth watching and the boy, dog gang get some laughs. Still, the movie is filled with clichés and boring coincidences. For a mindless science fiction movie this is entertaining enough, nothing more.

carlospereira What can someone say about Acquaria? Why people don't get to the point thatis important? Come on, this is a Brazilian science fiction movie, THE FIRSTONE! And a very good one! Let's see... So far, from Brazil we produced and exported poverty, crime, dry 'Sertao' land… Is that all??? Shouldn't we produce different things, show our incredible crew knowledge, technology etc? Brazilian Movies and science Fiction together, it is not a dream anymore - it is real and good. How about a different approach, a new point of view, a new generation ofmovies? I wonder: Isn't Acquaria bringing it… Think about it? The first of many...
