Lucybespro It is a performances centric movie
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
lisafordeay 10 Things I Hate About You was released in 1999 and stars Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger and tells the story of this guy called Cameron(Joseph Gordon Levitt)who is in love with a girl called Bianca(Larissa Oleynik)who is a very prim and proper. The problem is her father (played by Larry Miller)doesn't want her to date anyone until her older sister Kat(played by Julia Stiles)starts to date as he has a no sex policy. Of course Cameron and his friend bribe a strange handsome guy named Patrick(played by the late Heath Ledger)to go out with Kat in order for Cameron to date Bianca. Of course there is another guy who is a real douchbag named Joey(Andrew Keegan) who also bribes Patrick to date Kat so he can steal Bianca from Cameron. As Patrick begins to see Kat however he ends up falling for her for real and doesn't want to go through with the bribe anymore. But will they won't they get together? Overall I found this film entertaining and funny in some parts. The music is very rock/pop,the setting was nice and the plot reminded me of another teen romantic comedy called She's All That which came out the exact year as this as the plot to that film was similar to this film but sorta different at the same time. Both Julia and Heath had great chemistry together as both were newcomers at the time since Heath was in Home And Away in the mid 90s before he went to Hollywood till his death in 2008. If you liked She's All That,How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days then you will enjoy this.
vladcojocaru 10 things I hate about you is a film made in 1999. It is 1h 39m long so you don't get bored easily. The film is about a guy name Cameron who falls in love with Bianca and there starts the movie. There also come the problems because Bianca likes Joey and uses Cameron so that he can. So, it's a good teenager film, interesting and funny. I will give a 9 out of 10. I really recommend it. .
justkrepper This movie is okay. There's really nothing special to it. Next to brilliant teen movies as Breakfast club and Clueless, this one can't compete. It seeks to get emotional but it wasn't at any point. The characters doesn't seem true and I don't feel like I should care about their love troubles. It'as a bit too superficial and stereotyped for me. I felt a bit frustrate as there was no lesson to learn from this film, not even a small one. I will keep in mind a global feeling of indifference towards 10 things I hate about you.
desutterzoe i would not say this movie is perfect. the plot is far from original, and if you're looking for a truthful adaptation of 'the taming of the shrewd', this is not it."but why give it a ten?", you may ask. this movie is, as i like to call it, my 'ultimate feelgood movie'. it's just incredibly much fun. the humour works so well for me and it's a movie to watch when i don't really know what kind of mood i'm in. it also doesn't take itself too seriously. yes, the story is a bit cliché, but it knows it. that's what makes it so much fun.so if you're looking for a fun, hilarious movie, this is it.
